I found a video showing someone who did it, and there is a different reaction.
This. The game is clearly drawing the most from Yasumi Matsuno's games like FF Tactics and FFXII, both games along the same vein. FFXIV is along those same lines... till they got Matsuno on as a scenario writer.
However like half the current English cast of FF XIV were in Game of Thrones once.

I'm waiting for all the memes about how the Saltiron War was about people who got "Salty,"
or something to that effect.

Salt was hugely important and valuable in the ancient world. It was basically the original method of food preservation, so having a ton could be literally life or death. Hell, the word "salary" comes from the Latin word for salt, because it was expected that that would be one of the first things you'd want to buy. Even now, phrases like "worth your salt" derive from how much salt influenced commerce way back in the day.
I don't mind it too much spoken, but written down I do sort of instinctively want to read it as one word. You know, Sal-tear-on or something, like it's a place name. I guess if I were doing the English version, I might've written it as "the salt-iron war" for that reason, but then again, maybe not.
"Project Triangle Strategy", though — I get it's a working title, and that it's a game with a strategy focus and three sides. Still sounds pretty alien in English.

Having now almost finished it(I want to beat the last chapter without resorting to burn down the settlement) I find it again very wird that there are no moms in the game. We only see fathers in the story and they pretty much took over the role of dying. I find that sexist to be honest and if the survey comes I will point that out? Is it unreasonable or not?
I think it's a reference to the basic flavours. Sweet means positive, and people have been using bitter to refer to someone who is upset about something in the past, and sour to refer to somebody who has an overall negative outlook on life. Bitter and sour don't sound quite right to describe somebody who is upset about something happening right now, so that's where salty comes in.
I feel rather umami about this game.
Ukrainian Red CrossRegarding chapter 7: Has anyone get a tie in the voting process, if so, what happens?
Edit:I found it out! Here is what happens if the scale is even:
Serenoa decides what happens in a stalemate, so you can then choose if either Roland will be send away or protected.

Finally got around to playing the demo. Looks good; I'll buy the full version. Being used to Fire Emblem, it's weird to not have permadeath. Having to take action character-by-character rather than army-by-army is also a little weird but I did get used to it.
I would like there to be more of a distinction in the colours used for movement ranges; I sometimes got confused as to where was safe and where was in range of an enemy. I do love how position, altitude, and terrain are all important; they open up lots of tactical approaches.
Ezana is incredibly awesome and I am in love with her.
My party got whittled down fast in the battle against Avlora. Even with burning a bunch of the Aesfrosti to death, I ultimately ended up with just Corentin and Geela, who went on to defeat her and win the day by combining Corentin's elemental advantage with Geela's healing.
I also like how Julio decides to join me after finding evidence that Patriatte was embezzling money from mining contracts. No idea why I appreciate that so much, I just do.
After playing it, yeah, I can definitely see the Song of Ice and Fire aspects, though I suspect Game of Thrones has at least some influence over the Japanese version as well.
Ukrainian Red CrossI'm actually finding it hard to get a read on which dialogue options relate to which of the three convictions and which of the three lead to each of the three Optional Party Members. Julio, Medina and Ezana all seem to be good hearted people without any particular inclination to "Liberty" or "Pragmatism".

You are not alone.

Has anyone checked whether there's different reactions depending on if you burn the houses or not?
