Abandoned Sandbox Cleanup

That I couldn't tell you, but sandboxes like these are project threads for fixing the trope pages. Whatever ~Discar was doing, they weren't intending for the sandbox to have subpages. Sandboxes will eventually be swapped when they're finished, and nothing on them is meant to be public.

OK, my apologies. I thought this sandbox was a special case given how it's "subpages" (which I have just learned weren't subpages) were still being updated. My mistake.

So if they're not subpages to the sandbox, then what are they exactly?

Beats me. I assume they're meant to be subpages to the main trope page

Here is the thread where we discussed and then implemented the Names to Run Away from Really Fast main page cleanup. Short version, the subpages were originally subpages of the main trope page. When we cleaned up the main page, someone expressed desire to keep the subpages in the hopes that something could be salvaged. It was no skin off my back, so I just swapped the sandbox outright, so the old version was on the sandbox now.

I put in a cut request for the subpages a few months ago, I think, then forgot about them again. I assumed they had been cut, but obviously that's not the case.

I meant to cut the pages mentioned earlier, but I never got a chance. Apologies.

A few months ago, i read a good Star Wars Legends comic, Defenders of the Lost Temple and, checking TV tropes, found that there is a sandbox for that comic, here. However, it hasn't been updated since 2019 and Commander Visor, the troper who made it has made no edits since October of 2021.

The complicated thing is that I'm not as much askign for its deletion as I am for whether there is a way to make an actual work page out of it. While this draft may be a bit rough, it has some good stuff and I would like to see this work get a page. However, I don't know the procedures for doing something with someone else's sandbox and I can only post stuff the get help with english thread vets, so my own ability to do something with this is limited.

If Commander Visor doesn't reply to a PM anytime soon, you could make the page happen yourself. If you want to work on it in your own sandbox, you can access the contents with this link to its source text and copy-paste everything somewhere else.

I advise you check out How to Create a Work Page and the "New Work Page Workshop Thread" to ask for feedback on if the work page draft is good enough to launch. The sticky note at the top of said forum thread also gives other helpful links and advice about making work pages.

Thank you for the info. My advice still stands though.

Once an actual work page for that is launched, that sandbox can go.

Sandbox.Permanent Red Link Club, made by a normal user to sort out the current PRLC, has not seen updates aside from TRS efforts. Meanwhile, there have been additions to the PRLC proper since.

I made a similar Sandbox.Locked Pages around the same time which was cut, so this one might have just snuck through.

Casting Gag Example Sorting hasn't had any non-wick cleanup edits since it was first made in 2020. Should it be cut?

I think it should. The creator of the page is also inactive.

Nope, I haven't used it recently. I just added it to my to-do in case it gets cut and I need it again. I think I might have another draft somewhere with slightly better sorting as well.

Are we still using Sandbox.Danganronpa V 3 Up To Eleven? It appears to have been created based on this old ATT to see if an extremely long Up To Eleven entry could be salvaged. Do we still need it? (Up To Eleven is now a disambiguation, for the record, so I don't know.)

Do we still need Sandbox.Awesome Mc Coolname Wick Cleaning? Isn't that TRS thread done?

Yeah that TRS thread is done, so I believe that can also be cut. Plus, from my experience at least, it's not uncommon for Wick Checks (namely ones that have resulted in tropes going to TRS) to be sent to the Cut List before the thread is even finished.

Sandbox.Rational Creatures has had no substantive edits since July 2021, and is left as a stub with no indication of where to find the work. Should this be cutlisted?

Doesn't look to be in launchable state and both tropers who edited it are inactive, so the principle is "cut, if needed it can be remade".

Humiliation Conga Wick Check hasn't had any non-wick cleanup edits since 2021. Should it be cut?

That was for a TRS thread that concluded. I think you can cut.
