Why KaiOS sucks so much?

I have this problem, I'm unable to use touch-screens properly so I'm using a conventional cellphone. The thing is that symbian/windows phones even if capable of internet connection are unable to display most nowadays webpages. - Solution? KaiOS. Or so I thought. - Indeed this system can display most nowadays sites. But it also:

  • lacks copy-paste feature. This is unforgivable in today's trend of extensive sharing. Have you ever imagined what is it like to type a overly long link key by key?
  • cannot search text on pages.
  • refuses to download any media other than images from most sites
  • refuses to play mp3 files stating they're corrupt. Strangely it had no trouble playing an .ogg
  • does not show link adress preview. This gives me serious difficulties when dealing with potholes. I won't find out what are they about unless I click them.

What completely evades my mind is how come the developers couldn't patch these blatant holes for over 3 years.

I should note that old Nokia-Windows phones had the copy-paste feature and also could search pages and download any file. And they weren't infested with ads.
