Yes, well, our advice to Cutbug and Guma is do not acknowledge that web site anywhere ever.
That site is always doing the shit it does. That they're talking about this event in particular means nothing.

@Sylvi Yeah, I think somebody should try to talk to them, calm them down. This whole panic seems to be a result of people misinterpreting cunts on the internet as actual threats instead of the sad, bitter pieces of trash that they are.

I'm just going to take a long break from TV Tropes in general. Since this whole drama started I've noticed this site is putting me on edge. I think it's better for me to just not post or edit for a while. I'll be back in five weeks maybe.

Yeah I'm just going on hiatus. I'll be back in five weeks. I need it to detox from not only this thread but just site-related stress in general. I think part of the reason I panicked others was that this site is giving me too much stress. I need to spend time away from this site.

My takes:
- Anti-Necro: Keep locked. It's worthless as a "game" and encourages people to give into their spammiest, shitpostiest selves. It's the thread that started this whole drama to begin with.
- Trash Heap: Don't see much of a point to having it if the Hangout thread exists, especially since that one now has rules. I'm apathetic though.
- Unsubscription: Keep locked. It's just complaint-bait.
- Shipping/Dating: Also keep locked. It's pretty creepy, especially as a lot of posters are minors.
@mayor Nonetheless, you seem to have gotten a lot of other tropers (like Whistle) into a state of utter panic. Intentionally or not, you're setting us all on edge.
I advise you to try to stay calm. For everyone's sake.
