"Ueghh...I'm getting a warm TINGLY feeling from all this POWER!!!
"
The sound of a lascannon firing in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine. That *BANG wwuuuUUUPPP* is just so satisfying.
The beating of the Heart of Lorkhan from The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind
Some of the ambient sounds from Doom³, the demonic prayers probably being my favorite.
The SHING of an ultra combo finish in Street Fighter IV
The CHOOMCHOOMCHOOM of Lasher fire from PlanetSide 2.
So I was making a course in Super Mario Maker 2 with the Super Mario World Castle theme, and I was gonna make a Morton Boss Battle. Due to the timing of the music, the Mickey Mousing robotic voice sounded incredibly ashamed of Morton.
"Mor-ton!"
Thousand Dreamers, Watashi wa Saikyo, and Believe slap so hard. Most of mine are from the SNES: The Dragon Coins, the cape sounds, that "shtup" sound Mario makes when he bounces off of a Koopa, and the keyholes from Super Mario World, the mirror from A Link to the Past...
online since 1993 | huge retrocomputing and TV nerd | lee4hmz.info (under construction) | heapershangout.com- The explosion noise Creepers made before the Sound Update.
- The tone that plays in any The Legend of Zelda game when you unlock a door or discover a secret.
- Sonic collecting rings.
- The tone that plays in the older Pokémon games after you’ve saved the game.
- The sound when Mario gets an extra life.

He/they | Mostly here on my free days
Some of my favorite ones off the top of my head are the ones Raikou, Entei, and Suicune make. :)
Every single sound the double barrel shotgun makes in BioShock 2 is just...perfect. It's not wimpy, tiny little snaps, it's not so loud and booming that it makes you overestimate how powerful it is, it's a perfect sound that gives you an exact idea of how much ass you can kick with it (spoiler alert: a lot).
I can't say goodbye to yesterday…The shattering sound of a Soul Crush in Soul Calibur IV. I loved getting a Critical Finish off in that game~ I see why they nerfed it to the equally cool but nowhere near as OP Critical Edge in 5 and 6 though. (Do voices count? If so then also from the Soul Series, anything Siegfried says. No I am not biased due to having a massive crush on him, shut up
) Also the tink! Sound of No Damage from Fire Emblem: Three Houses (or any FE really)... as long as it's one of mine taking no damage.

Your melody still remains in this room and it ringsThe weapon sound effects throughout the Ratchet And Clank franchise.

Dual-wielding smgs in Halo 2 Using the Solar Eruption in Terraria Picking up ammo and medkits in Doom Eternal
Don't make me call daddy CthulhuNot really a sound effect, but rather the lack of one...the music stopping after a "HOLD IT!" or "OBJECTION!" in Ace Attorney.
I can't say goodbye to yesterday…Oh, another one from Fire Emblem: Three Houses: any Pre-Mortem One-Liner from any of my units. But especially my husband Claude, and in particular "My moment has arrived!" "Shall we dance?" (pre-timeskip; that one killed me when I got it dksfjlghdfjklghIlovehimsomuch aaaaaa) and "Strategy in motion!" (post-timeskip)

The Super Mario Bros coin noise is maybe not my favorite, but it's definitely burned in my memory after Charli XCX used it to emphasize Female Gaze in this song
.
Again, it's not a sound effect, but pretty much anything Augustus Sinclair says in BioShock 2 is just...beautiful. Whenever the radio turns on and I hear his sweet, smooth, Southern accent...I feel safe. It helps that, unlike Atlas, he never betrays you. By his own will, at least.
I can't say goodbye to yesterday…

Speaking of Half-Life, the sound effect of reloading the shotgun in the first game is one of the best sounds.
Come on! Let's bless them all until we get fershnickered!
