Kid Cosmic (Netflix Cartoon From Craig McCracken)

All around good show from our childhood content creator. Seriously, now I need more fanfiction crossover with all these shows.

I had a formal review for this show and everything, and the more I put up writing it down, the more I forgot about my points.

But yeah, great show. I ended up liking it way more than I even expected. I'm excited for season 2, whenever that comes around.

Seriously, it's interesting he made two shows about space. Again crossover with Wander would be nice.

It would be, but I think that's very unlikely due to Wander being owned by Disney.

I watched the first two episodes and I'm really enjoying it. Energetic with down to earth characters, it's nothing groundbreaking but it's good.

Craig Mc Cracken revealed the ages of the main characters. Kid is 9-10. Jo is 16-17 (she's at least old enough to drive). Rosa is 4. Tuna Sandwich (in human years) is 30-40. For Papa G, he can't say.

Here's a slight correction from Craig. He said that Tuna is 30-40 in cat years, but 5-6 in human years.

Here's something interesting from Craig Mc Cracken. He said how episode 1 was recorded in 2017 before he pitched the show to Netflix. Once the show got the greenlight in 2018, then episode 2 was recorded. One more thing of note is that the show would've come out last year if it wasn't for the pandemic. While we don't have a date for season 2, it will come out sooner.

Oh I do expect higher stakes. After all, the final scene of the first season hints at the biggest threat yet, I expect Erodius to be this show's Lord Dominator

I really enjoyed this and like wow there are way too many good gags to try to pick out a favorite but if I had to it'd probably be the Earth Force Enforcement Force song, the show had a really nice flow to it overall.

I especially think the direction they took Jo and Papa G were done really well.

Excited to see how the dynamics of next season will shake out with the change in location to spaaaaaceeeeeee.

I don't watch a whole lot of modern cartoons, but I'm interested in this one.

Welp, seems like shit's hitting the fan for real. And glad to see that it won't take long for Season 2 to come

So is the guy they're fighting in the trailer actually Erodius or is it Fantos? Because while Erodius is mentioned multiple times, the trailer never actually confirms that alien IS Erodius.

Well, sacrifice could mean anything. It could mean Papa G showing sacrifice by dying for others in battle (and not in the way his clones do) or it could be where he learns to let Kid and everyone else be more independent and sacrifices spending some time with them.

We might be in for a Red Herring with the first half never telling us who that alien is and misleding us into thinking it's Erodius, only for it to be Phantos/other conqueror and the real Erodius to be somewhere else

I wonder if Season 2 will have some flashbacks with Kid's parents. If not, then maybe in Season 3 since that season will focus on Papa G.

I thought Season 2 is Jo focused

Season 2 does focus on Jo, but there could still be flashbacks. That's why I said if they don't, then they'll save it for the next season because the focus for Season 3 is Papa G.

I'd be very careful about checking the show's page on Netflix, since there is a thumbnail that spoils Most of the powers the rest of the diner will get once they all get rings.

Just watched Season 1, and looking very forward to Season 2 and 3!

In a rather interesting move, Netflix seems to be officially uploading Season One episodesn to build hype. The most recent one, as of this posting, is Episode 3.
