Under Stylistic Suck, 「Psychostick: "BEER!!"」 is a complete reupload and needs to be removed.
yes we are using the funny 「STAND」 quotes to demarcate titles that themselves contain quotation marks

Suddenly I'm... still rotating Fallen London in my mind even though I've stopped actively playing it.Videos on VideoExamples. The Mandalorian that can get tagged to actors, but don't already have such tags:
- "Warm or Cold." to Creator.Pedro Pascal
- "The Marshall" to Creator.Timothy Olyphant
- "The Nite Owls" to Creator.Katee Sackhoff, Wrestling.Sasha Banks, and maybe Creator.Pedro Pascal (I know he voices Mando, but don't think he wore the helmet in that particular scene)
- "Migs Mayfeld" to Creator.Bill Burr
- "Colonel Hess" to Creator.Richard Brake (and Creator.Bill Burr and Creator.Pedro Pascal if their reactions seem important to the trope)
- "Mandalorians" to Creator.Katee Sackhoff and Creator.Temuera Morrison
And "Boba Fett" was deemed elsewhere
not an example of Meaningful Release Date, so that could just get deleted if possible.

A Five Nights At Freddys video was just uploaded to Jump Scare, which is, of course, No Video Examples, Please!.
I'm pretty sure the Spyro Reignited Trilogy video on Mind-Control Music is not an example. It's more Music Soothes the Savage Beast if it has to be matched with any trope.
My musician pageThe video example "The Revenge Society interviews" for Terrible Interviewees Montage belongs to The Venture Brothers. However, it doesn't show up in the video examples for that page, because the sources for that video are The Venture Bros. and Venture Brothers — which are both redirects.
In addition, the video example "Pikachu" from Chadtronic for Nightmare Fuel more specifically qualifies as Nightmare Face, and should be an example for that trope instead.

The thing I honestly don’t understand is why the pages Epileptic Flashing Lights, Jump Scare, Nocturnal Emission, and Potty Failure don’t have the option to add video examples to their pages locked (since they are banned from having video examples) like how some pages have the edit page option locked due to reasons like edit warring and vandalism. I am just curious since this keeps happening every now and then.
I'm not sure if such a functionality is actually possible. That's why we added the hidden warning to try and deter people.
Since there is a hidden warning, actually, doesn't this qualify as someone ignoring a mod note?

It could be combination of that and some people genuinely not knowing that they shouldn’t be doing that. Perhaps the warning should be moved to the top of the page like how some tropes have something on top of the page that tells you if it’s based on a opinion or if it’s a YMMV trope.
The warning is at the top of the page. It's the very first thing on the top of the page. It's on the edit screen because people have to use said edit screen to add videos.

Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallIt's a hidden note. If you click edit or source you'll see it.
My point is, there's a prominent warning that tropers should see. Since this qualifies as them ignoring mod notes, and thus pretty deliberately breaking or ignoring the rules, shouldn't they be mod-tapped? Honestly it's getting pretty aggravating that videos aren't enforced in the same way the rest of the wiki is. People who knowingly break the rules or repeatedly cause problems should be dealt with the same way regardless of where this issue took place.

Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper Wall>people have to use said edit screen to add videos
Not necessarily. The video upload form can also be accessed from the VideoExamples/ "subpage"note , and people uploading through there won't see any evidence of a comment in the main page's source.
It's arguably the more intuitive way to access video uploading, since it doesn't require you to access the edit screen of a page you have no edits for.
Suddenly I'm... still rotating Fallen London in my mind even though I've stopped actively playing it.My thought process was, if there's no current video examples subpage, it's less intuitive to use it than it is to just use the editing screen. Obviously if that subpage already exists it's much easier, but these tropes don't have a Video Examples page and I find it hard to believe that people would go through the effort of creating the URL every time rather than just clicking "upload video" from the edit screen.
Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallGuess it depends on the person. We type stuff directly in the address bar all the time. To the point we're actually still a little miffed that Home Page now redirects to a naked tvtropes.org with no namespace/title to edit lol
Suddenly I'm... still rotating Fallen London in my mind even though I've stopped actively playing it.Jump Scare has had a video uploaded for it, despite that page being designated No Video Examples, Please!. Can it be removed?
Cave Johnson, we're done here.
The title is "FNAF" to be specific.
Hi, I've been looking at the new uploads and saw these:
Wham Episode: "The Shell Part 1" and "The Shell Part 2" all appear to be half of the episode, and part of this video, which violates copyright.

“Trope Namer” (the SpongeBob video) on Opposite Day is in fact not the Trope Namer and needs its title changed. I suggest “SpongeBob” pending others.

I don’t think it has one. It¹s just a term.
On a different note, “Needle” under Eye Scream (the Cyanide & Happiness) video is 1:14 out of a 2:27 video
, and most of the actual, non-credit video itself. How allowed is that?
“Pinky Breaks Formula” under Out-of-Character Alert has a Kimcartoon watermark in the top left.
“Supergirl Hypnotized” under Hypnotize The Princess is not an example. So is . . . hell, none of the examples on that page are examples with the possible exception of “Arlo and the Bog Lady”, which shows him being kidnapped. This is definitely one troper with a thing going on.

You considered asking the mods? Also I think the videos on Twilight being hypnotised might fit cause you know, Twilight is a princess?
Also, The Jump Scare video "FNAF" is still there, despite that trope being No Video Examples, Please!

The only video example currently uploaded for Salad Fingers ("Fish in the Oven" for Microwave Misuse) seems to be flipped on its side.
