Two weeks ago, there was a discussion in the moderation thread over whether to keep the Complete Monster and Magnificent Bastard cleanup thread notes on their pages. While that discussion was resolved, the original topic brought up did not reach a conclusion: editor instructions on trope pages. There are way more notes on trope pages than just those two, and even some TLP drafts have them, almost as if it's normal.

Pages with or used to have editor notes
And this is without digging through indexes like No On-Page Examples and No Straight Examples, Please! for pages that specifically tell editors not to list examples; I guarantee there's more. There was a proposal to make notes not going trope descriptions an official policy, but it was ignored. Many people feel differently about this; one modnote  supports them being on pages, and at least one mod is against them being on pages. Should editor notes go on trope pages?

Yes, absolutely. I've always been for integrating readers into wiki rules (because maybe they'll understand why entries are changed or would like to become editors and help), people aren't likely to read page source code, and these really aren't that bothersome (they certainly don't use all caps).

Currently mostly inactive. An incremental game I tested: https://galaxy.click/play/176 (Gods of Incremental)
