The name is already in doubt, due to a 2011 thread.
Only 56 links to it, and some examples are ZCE anyway, with it being fairly short.
The idea is good, but some usage - like Thomas the Tank Engine example - doesn't fit the trope and a lot of British mystery series linked to are simple one-word paragraphs.
In general, the trope page is OK; but less so for what links to it, it's often used briefly, or in some cases, just the trope itself as a zero-context example.
The trope name was already said to be in 2011 not very clear and that Ran Out Of Source Material was a proposed rename suggested or Outlived The Source Material as a better name (I've forgotten which thread).
With this in mind, anyone think this article needs a major fix?
