- Porter Wright has dropped being Trump's lawyers in his lawsuit against Pennsylvania out of a mixture of disgust that this is undermining democracy as well as the fact that the case is idiocy
Worth noting that the law firm did not give a reason for withdrawing; the talk of "disgust" is pure speculation.
It could as easily be that Trump is too broke to pay them but they were too tactful to say so.
Just did a check at the big dates coming up are. [1]
December 8th: The day by which all states must have certified their results, most will have done them by then, but that’s the hard deadline.
December 14th: The electoral college votes.
December 23rd: Congress receives the votes of the electoral college.
January 6th: Congress counts the votes of the electoral college.
January 20th: Inauguration day.
Mixed in with this we have January 5th as the runoff election date in Georgia.

“And the Bunny nails it!” ~ Gabrael “If the UN can get through a day without everyone strangling everyone else so can we.” ~ CyranEverything except the Georgia runoffs has now been called, the senate currently sits at 48 Democrats (well Democrats and Independents that caucus with them) and 50 Republicans.
So we won’t know control of the senate until January.
“And the Bunny nails it!” ~ Gabrael “If the UN can get through a day without everyone strangling everyone else so can we.” ~ CyranThe "voter fraud" hotline Trump set up is being shut down because of all the prank and spam calls.
Incidentally some of the instances of voter fraud the Trump legal team brought to court in Michigan include Republican poll watchers complaining that someone was too loud on the megaphone, and someone calling one of them a Karen.
I'm beginning to see why these keep getting tossed out of court.
Presumably they are paid by the RNC or the election team.
And yeah, like I said, those lawyers have zero loyalty to Trump. They may be Republicans, but they are not going to put their careers on the line for Trump or the party. I'm glad these lawyers at least have some decency left in them.
Hope shines brightest in the darkest timesI wouldn’t say it’s decency, it’s self-interest, a number of judges have been threatening Trump’s lawyers with loosing their ability to practice law if they don’t get the bullshit.
It’s not decency, it’s a desire not to face legal sanctions.

IA-2 Democratic candidate Rita Hart will request a recount - she's trailing the Republican by just 48 votes. [1]
