I'm amazed he was able to last this long without it. I miss a single night of sleep and I can barely remain conscious the following day.

This series sure puts an awful lot of emphasis on Life. I wonder if there's some kinda reason for that? Like, Life being the only primordial to revive so far, or perhaps never quite dying to begin with.

According to the OSP Discord there have been Mages who discovered the True Names of all Primordials
Like, the Singing Caves are called that because that's where the Stone Mage who found Stones Name went specifically to find it and never come out again...but a few weeks after there are earthquakes and all cave entrances hummed.
The first examples of chimaera showed up a few years after a mage discovered Life's name
