As a Wild Child he might not grasp the idea of parental authority either.
I don't think Falst is a Wild Child, strictly speaking. There was that weird panel of Falst dreaming
that said something along the lines of "Find your way, if you are truly my son". Assuming that was a memory, then he does remember having parents.
Also, for all his grumpiness about "civilisation", he's pretty well-socialised. Like, he could read complicated books on magic and actually do stuff with it. That the sort of thing you can't do with natural smarts. He must've had some sort of education.

Yah know, looking at that last panel, it really feels like a bit of a missed opportunity to not use "birb" for an Unsound Effect.
I guess Erin, being smart enough to run after the homing messenger bird, will make his entry next page.
It's nice to finally see Erin properly flex. We haven't really been able to see much of his supposed unmatched magical talents.
Ain't nothing unlawful about it, though. Erin still violated the law (by proxy), and needs to be brought in. Anything else is a matter for the courts (such as they are) to decide.
I'm guessing that their next move would be to turn themselves in and get a slap on the wrist, so that Shrike can no longer touch them.
And Erin there was not trespassing anywhere and would show total willingness to be openly prosecuted. Her response is to try and take him down violently. He'd totally be able to spin it, and my point is that I'd expect arenamaster to giddily play along and essentially backstab Shrike to get her back into his system.
As ambassador, Erin is fully responsible for the actions of his entourage. They've just been over that. So the whole group needs to be brought in. Shrike really wants to be the one doing the bringing in, and I doubt that the state cares at all about any violence used in the process of a lawful arrest.
This is a police state, and Shrike is one of their top enforcers. She can get away with a lot, as long as her aims vaguely align with that of the state. I also doubt that the arena master will be that willing to turn on his prize hunting dog for the sake of one more gladiator in the ring.
I mean the thing here is that it doesn't really matter long term whether Shrike brings them in or not because diplomatic immunity and crap, but she wants to get paid for job which she wouldn't if the doesn't capture them and then let Arenamaster have headache when he finds out he can't hold them due to diplomatic immunity
Looks like Shrike got herself into steamy situation.

I assure you, I'm perfectly trustable person

As someone born physically strong he might also probably not quite grasp that even the Elemental Magus probably needs time to learn magic and is probably no more powerful than any other child.
