Ikei hears Cutbug run in, and just drops everything.

He runs towards her impulsively, and stops right in front of her. He can't bring himself to meet her eyes, and is looking down at his feet.

Give me a minute... I've just got some weird sharp pains...

Ikei? [Cutbug raises their arms for a hug, but stops.] are you okay? are you hurt? I had a weird dream last night and I think it was about you...

I had a weird dream too. About these guys... and they called me by my birthday, except not the correct year... and I don't remember much after that, but... I've been having pains. He feels around the back of his shoulder and winces.

-with a loud bang and smoke, Bill's Brother is launched from the floor into the fray. He coughs out the smoke- "Ah need better steering control."

-he looks around and finds dumpsters- "Yes! Ah hope ah find a unicorn exoskeleton suit!"

-Bill's Brother's smile is replaced with a calm, solemn frown- "...and also find a time-traveling device to go back in time and prevent him from doing that. Some "friend" you were..."

Demi-fiend keeps punching at the door.

"WHY!"

*punch*

"WON'T!"

*punch again*

"THIS!"

*one more punch*

"BREAK?!?"

Wait-wait-wait, what the hell went on when I was out?

   "Please. Please, I'll take the hug."'    He wraps his arms around Cutbug out of desperation, taking comfort in every second of the motion.

OK this would be a touching moment if I actually knew the context. It's still great, because I love seeing you two hug, but...
