Every few years you see people and media being shocked about antisemitism being "on the rise"… but as far as I know, Jews have always been more likely to be attacked than other communities, proportionally. There’s nothing recent about it. Internet simply makes antisemitic groups and rhetorics more visible.
Bavarian's deputy premier is currently wrapped up in an antisemitic scandal

Seems like he published a far-right leaflet in his school days.
Markus Söder has not yet fired him.

It almost seems like these Jew-Haters are projecting, at least somewhat.
Fair point.

Abbas has said things like, to quote "The Guardian":
"No. It was clearly explained that they fought them because of their social role and not their religion." Abbas later clarified that he was referring to "usury, money and so on"
It certainly seems like he buys into the stereotypes behind Jew-Hatred if nothing else, at best.
I don't think this is exclusive to Palestinian culture, however (not that you are implying it was).
Many Belgians still buy into that BS.

Godwin's law is kind of like the Breschel Test; a lot of people don't really seem to understand what the point of it was and always seem to use it the wrong way.
Also I can't really think of too many times when I saw Goodwin's Law happen here on TV Tropes, outside of works involving literal fascists.
Oh freaking Hell.
My dad, a long-time conspiracy theorist and anti-semite (or am I just repeating myself), has gone on a rant about how the whole Hamas' mass murder of children gets so much attention due to Jews running the media.
Jesus FUCKING CHRIST, it's 2023, not 2003. I can't (and can, sadly enough) believe that someone would hold on to this dumbfuckery over longer than I was alive.
I bet it would be unsurprising to hear that this dumbass still believes that 9/11 was an inside job.
SURPRISINGLY enough, though, he doesn't believe in anti-vax conspiracy and got himself vaccinated even more than me (he got four, I just got three). I guess even for a conspiracy nutjob like him anti-vaxxers are ridiculous...
Continuously reading, studying, and (hopefully) growing.I think I know which articles you're talking about. I remember this 2020 op-ed written by an Israeli journalist
talking about the spread of COVID in Haredi communities (both in NY and his native Israel), and this series of articles over the past year
discussing educational issues in New York's Hasidic yeshivas, written by a pair of journalists from Jewish backgrounds.
Obviously not a case of Jews "controlling" the media in the conspiracy theory sense, and I'm not really familiar enough with the subjects to comment; but New York is a place with a historically large Jewish population, which means 1) lots of news items pertaining to the local Jewish community, and 2) lots of Jewish journalists/media workers to report them. Those articles might or might not be unfairly biased against the Haredi community, I don't know – from an outsider's perspective, they struck me at a glance (particularly the yeshiva story) as stories primarily written for the NYT's large (though liberal-leaning?) Jewish readership (and then globally boosted because it's both a local and international paper).

One day, we will read his name in the news and cheer.Berlin synagogue attacked as antisemitic incidents rise
The Kahal Adass Jisroel community said its synagogue in the city's Mitte neighborhood was attacked with two incendiary devices. Police confirmed the incident

Antisemitism is something extremists from all sides of the political and religious spectrum agree on, unfortunately.
