Fuwamoco have reached a new
and painful level of Twin Sync (Twitter Post)
Looking at Denauth, I really like the theme and the designs, and Klara and Twisty have good chemistry. If they had debuted six months earlier, I would have been happy to follow them. As is I'm wondering if they can graduate together.
Did Denauth get proper publicity, or are they stuck in obscurity like TTT?
Stories don't tell us monsters exist; we knew that already. They show us that monsters can be trademarked and milked for years.I believe they got proper publicity (well, a unit name, and a public domain gate with Niji's logo photoshopped on, but still more than TTT).
Issue is they debuted while Niji EN is on fire, to the point that they've had the lowest Debut CCV average since Luxiem

Attachments are not the problem, Indifference is. Keelah se'laiAs is I'm wondering if they can graduate together.
They knew what they were getting into. As near as I can tell, Nijisanji contracts don't take effect until the day of debut, so it's not like they were trapped in a contract from before shit went down
It looks like Klara is doing this as a side gig with the added benefit of being able to maybe collab with her JP senpai
There's some weird shit around Twisty that suggests she's either in her own little world... or actively cultivating drama as a marketing tactic

Niji's actually been trying lately, so they did get decent promotion and actually good models. It just doesn't really matter because barely anyone cares anymore
And Kobo has apparently streamed on bilibili. People still aren't sure if it's fake, a one time promotional thing for a concert she's doing, if Kobo got permission to stream on Bilibili because of Chinese fans or because she wanted too, or if Cover is attempting to make inroads into China again.
Either way it's a development that's got some mixed reactions by people.

As far as I know, Kobo’s stream was mostly a promo for an upcoming concert on B2. Might be a one off, but time will tell.
Get taxed. Idiot.I've seen a poster of said B2 concert, I'm not sure if it's fake or not, but according to that poster, in addition to Kobo, Matsuri (Holo JP) will be attending too, as well as.....Vox and Finana
But yeah, probably it's just a one time thing for the concert and nothing else.
They're both "Japanese who wants to avoid VTA", right? I think I've seen talks about their tweets that suggests it.
In that case, no wonder they have good chemistry XD

Well, for those into financials, Anycolor's Q4 reports are out: https://www.anycolor.co.jp/en/ir/news
Short of their overall annual forecast by 3%, and percentage gross and net profit for the year have not increased substantially since 2023, but it's not a horrendous result financially, and in conjunction with an announced buyback their stock price is actually doing quite well out of this.
However, it's very noticeable that they've stopped breaking down EN revenues on their graphs, which seems to be an admission that it's definitely shrinking in financial terms. They've also stopped claiming EN is a potential pillar of growth and are pretty explicitly pivoting back to Japan and focussing harder on rebuilding VTA, with the plan being to get a lot more debuts per year (10-15% annual increase per one of the documents).
While there are no graphs for them, you can still see the data for Niji EN in tabulated form, and their revenues have fallen 7.8% since last quarter and 21.8% year-on-year; moreover, their Q4 income is about 15% events revenue (i.e. AR Live, Virtual Rhapsody, maybe others?) which means that when it comes to their other sources (streaming, merch, licensing) they're actually down 21.5% for the quarter and 33.3% year-on-year.
IMO this isn't necessarily apocalyptic for Anycolor as a brand, because, unless they had indeed predicted that EN would decline by 25%, the fact that the company as a whole only fell short of revenue projections by 3% means JP probably actually overperformed a bit relative to forecasts. With that in mind, and with expectations of continuing decline in overseas performance having been set last quarter, it seems like the end-of-year report is actually not too fatal for Anycolor's medium-term prospects as a company, even if it does seem very clearly to be pointing to the impending irrelevance of Niji EN.
what the frig

Like the MCU, just throw a dart and pray that something comes out of the uncohesiveness.
I doubt we'll see any big events anymore outside of Asia for Nijien by this report exorcising them from the conversation. I wonder if their brand's invisibility will be so bad that the livers who want to stay will push to be part of JP
Pantheon server for all who click here. Lost too much money and time, this coaster ain’t stopping.I'm not sure investors will be happy about the company basically ditching overseas expansion, though.
Also, I assume the rapid-firing of EN events helped to somewhat shore up their numbers for the quarter?
