According to Bill Motz, the episode "The Unnatural" was the pilot for the show in order to give what the feel of a typical episode is like. He said how Katie Greenway helped find Molly's voice while Noel Belknap helped find her energy and physicality.

So, I watched the two episodes, and they were good. But, I honestly think the Fandom is really overhyping it, or rather their idea of it. Like, the show seems lighter and softer then even Big City Greens (which even in the first episode didn't make light of the fact that the Greens just lost their home and don't have that much money). Like, if I wasn't seeing Twitter hype this show for its yet to be seen LGBT representation (people are already shipping Molly and Andrea) then I'd be really surprised older (20 some things) people were into it,considering that age group is not that active for Big City Greens.
The ponytail in her hair looks like a spider, that's fantastic...
Going on about voices, since she is voiced by Breezy from Adventure Time and only sounds like an excitable Webby type character.
It's just the tone of voice, not the voice itself.

It could be because of how Bill Motz & Bob Roth mentioned a few times that the show would still have something resembling a story arc even if it's still largely episodic. That, combined with other stuff like putting in LGBTQ content and an autistic character, all before the show even came out, are what probably drew people in more. I don't recall Chris Houghton & Shane Houghton giving that level of promotion to Big City Greens at the start since they were just advertising something that's made out of passion, but is basically a sitcom. I hope I made sense with this.

One of my friends mentioned that it's pretty close to Ashly Burch's Tiny Tina voice from Borderlands. But yeah, it's more than likely the tone of the voice that makes her sound like Webby because the voice is so high pitched and hyper.
Speaking of which, it somehow took me a while when watching Ducktales to not simply hear Sadie Miller whenever Webby spoke even though Kate Micucci uses a significantly higher pitched voice for Webby than she did for Sadie—which makes sense, since Sadie is a young adult and Webby is 12 or something.

When we're done, there won't be anything left. The fandom seems okay on Tumblr so far. Granted I doubt that will last.
While I like darkness in cartoons, I'm glad this show isn't really gonna go that route. Nothing wrong with a light cartoon. Closest thing I can compare it in terms of vibes is probably Hilda season 1? Or Phineas and Ferb?
When we're done, there won't be anything left.4 episodes in...of course.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. That makes sense. One of the things I noticed about the episode was that it was unconnecte in general and could have been placed anywhere in the season, without much character focus or anything.
Similar to Phineas & Ferb was questionable before, but there's been a song in each episode so far.
5 total.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. You know, the discussion on Molly sounding simillar to Webby (or more specifically, Kate Micucci's take on her) are kinda funny since they do remind me of when 2017 Webby and Mabel Pines were assumed to share the same voice during Ducktales 2017's early days despite Mabel being Kristen Schaal and not Micucci.
Oh I can see that.

While I remember people commenting on how Webby is personality-wise very similar to Mabel, I didn't remember people assuming they're voiced by the same person. Interesting. That's wild to me because they really don't sound the same to me personally apart from having high pitched voices. Though that could also be because, like I mentioned, I really couldn't not hear Sadie Miller whenever Webby spoke, and Sadie doesn't sound like Mabel either.

The action heavy chase scene in "Howlin Harriet" was thrown in by Sam King (the director) , where she was still coming off of her days on Duck Tales (where she was a storyboard artist and occasional director) . She said it's from everyone still trying to figure the show out.

Bob Roth said that Libby likes turtles due to how she has them on her flashlight and her Bat Mitzvah invitation.

Someone noticed that when Libby hugged Molly in "Howlin Harriet", she was blushing. When thinking about if they were reading too much into this, Bob Roth said "Maybe."
