Been playing catch-up with this show and finally caught up. I love how consistently funny this show manages to be: if it isn't the wide range of facial expressions and visual gags, it's the brilliant vocal deliveries. Enjoying the second season a fair bit so far, and digging how many plot threads they've been establishing for future episodes. If it's anything like season one, most will probably be resolved by the end of the season to keep things nice, tidy, and condensed, which I appreciate.
So big spoilers for the latest episode and a small review:
As I predicted, Ollie changed his mind on ghost and is back on good terms with Molly. Unfortunately the other Chens are more determined than ever to catch ghosts and Ollie's looking to be stuck in a conflict of loyalty and the Frightmares' imprisonment isn't likely to last long. I think we're going to get the Chen-Mc Gee full conflict midway through, I suspect Ruben will take the longest to convince to accept ghosts as not being bad.
"Bingo! If two species hate each other, they will wipe each other out on their own."I wonder if they're going to introduce some legit bad spirits that are straight up demonic
New theme music also a boxDo the frightmares not count for that?
SoundCloudthey're probably the closet, maybe its more accurate to describe them as feral ghosts
New theme music also a boxThat also includes the original chairman, where wraith-Molly's positive energy rather than turning him into a positive joyous ghost like everyone else utterly annihilated him and he actually has a sense of sapience unlike Frightmares, Sob Goblins, or Book Sprites which seem to act on instinct.
Edit: And based on previews I've seen for the next episode, this little character development conflict for Oliver isn't over yet.

Jinx seems to be going in a bad direction, though she might end up more Sitcom Archnemesis than straight up evil.
Howlin' Harriet was more of a traditional evil monster ghost that needed something specific to snap her out of being a monster, iirc.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Go ahead incidentally and tell me Molly and Scratch wouldn't feel terrified at seeing this. Even if it was just playing the actual game.
I'm 41 and I find it spooky😅.

So, the creators were teasing something on Twitter about pizza. It was an excuse to post something else: the full version of "I Keep Ending Up With You", performed by Ailee!
Good duo of episodes. Ghostfriends was a fun little song, and I'm happy that Ollie is making a real effort in being part of the squad.
The second segment was what really resonated with me though. I know that pain of knowing less than a dozen words/phrases of my mother tongue and being stuck staring blankly into space while the rest of the family is speaking it.
Dang, I wasn't expecting this show to get real with an episode about what it's like to be mixed race. Pretty dope.
Been on a big Beetlejuice kick after the announcement of the sequel, and it hit me how much this show is like the Beetlejuice animated series, to the point where I wonder if it might've been a direct inspiration.

Oh yeah, Sunnyland Productions. These guys are really good; highly recommend them for all TGAMM fans. Personally, a big fan of their "In Defense of Ollie Chen" video; it really highlights just why he's such a good addition to the show.

It's the Great Pumpkin Molly Mc Gee!😱
At least I wonder if Molly is open to believing it exists.
