Games that you like but find it hard to get into
1. Disco Elysium
It builds character.- Disco Elysium
- Octopath Traveler II
i have yet to convince a SINGLE person to try out Octopath II, because: 1. it's a sequel; 2. it's an RPG; 3. i'm really annoying about it; 4. it's an RPG; 5. it's a Square Enix game; 6. it's really hard to talk about what i love about it without spoiling the story; 7. did i mention it's an RPG?
Welcome, my little friend! Or should I say...friends?1. Disco Elysium
2. Octopath Traveler II
3. Splatoon
Splatoon is a series where I play it for months on end, put it down for months on end, and then when I get back into it, I play it for months on end again.
Orcus on His Throne will always be my pet peeve.1. Disco Elysium
2. Octopath Traveler II
3. Splatoon
4. Chrono Cross
(SPOILERS BELOW, ME HEARTIES)
How do I market this game? “It’s a Chrono Trigger sequel but it’s also not. And the player character is supposed to be dead but he’s not, and the female lead is supposed to be Schala but she’s not, and there’s one guy who’s supposed to be Magus but he’s DEFINITELY NOT. And there’s all this WIBBLY WOBBLY DIMENSIONAL STUFF and OH DID YOU KNOW THE LIZARD PEOPLE WON IN THIS TIMELINE and ALSO THE ISLAND ISN’T REAL?
Always remember to hydrate! (A message from Snoopy)1. Disco Elysium
2. Octopath Traveler II
3. Splatoon
4. Chrono Cross
The controls and interface are a little... complicated, to say the least. Once you learn it you've got what's probably one of the best roleplay experiences any multiplayer game can offer, though.

5. Space Station 13
To make progress, you have to get a sufficiently high score in each tower to get medals. The medals from any tower can be spend in any other tower to get better starting conditions that will help you get higher scores, so all the top scores are out of reach at first and you have to work your way up by playing each tower multiple times. Some of the towers are huge and take over an hour just to attempt. You can see where this is going.

probably the ur-example? Infamous for giving the player very little to go on and being punishingly difficult. It's easy to feel like you've run right up against a wall very early on and really relies on shared community knowledge to increase your odds. Once you get the hang of it, though, it's really amazing. Can even become easy if you know what you're doing
