I don't know exactly what it is, but something about the design of the main character reminds me very strongly of a certain other character...

Does anyone actually read these?

I think he's based on the Warrior of Darkness from Shadowbringers.
"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"
My FC and Linkshell are hoping Joshua is customizable.
If i can somehow play as a Xaela, this game is a pre order at the first second purchase for me.

"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"Was how I immediately realized it was Yoshida. XIV official Hyur Wo L went from clean faced prettyboy to gruff with Shadowbringers.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. So, Shiva and Titan duking it out in the first minute or so seemed to be an army conflict. Will each region have its own Eikon or whatever they're called?
I like Ashe so the similarities are a positive for me.
Specifically, Eikon was a term used by the local evil empire to refer to summons.
Think we might get an event in XIV for the game?

"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"Which had been used by a now dead Evil Empire in the past, whom said Empire takes inspiration from.
No idea but Id love it if so. The crossovers were some of THE BEST stuff in XV.
Like Noct having more romantic tension with a character from one of those events than he does any of the female characters in the actual game.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.
As others have put it, it's not a good thing when a guest star party member for one brief crossover event has more chemistry with the main character than his ostensible Love Interest does.
So apparently Twitter is upset about the trailer only showing the protag and complaining how "it's not a real Final Fantasy" and that it's more in the vein of DMC/The Witcher/et cetera.
To the first point: it's literally the first trailer, they'll introduce the party later. They already had to fit in the summons, The Empire, the revenge story, the little kid being able to summon Phoenix (or Ifrit?), and the combat demo. Give them time.
To the second, No True Scotsman is a logical fallacy for a reason. I only have experience with ATB/CTB, so I'm biased, but declaring a game isn't part of the main series just because you don't like the combat seems a bit odd to me.
So, let's hang an anchor from the sun... also my Tumblr

Getting a mix of XIV and XV from this trailer.
Overall, i'm going to need to see more to feel hyped.
I gotta say though, if somehow Xaela are in the game, i'd be hyped.
