I think it was Mona, as she's the only one of the 4 post-release censored characters that got an immediate quick-fix outfit before her updated look was added months later.
They look like gel inserts except there's nothing to insert into. Girl just walking around in her arch supports.
As for Lauma getting reported I don't know how to feel. Her design is over sexualized but not the most blatant case, and whatever censoring might happen because of it likely won't solve the problem I have with Genshin character designs.

No, I'm talking Mona's Chinese only temp fix look [1]
Jean, Amber, Rosaria, and her all got censored outfits but Mona's was the only one thought to be so bad it required immediate redressing.
Mona and Jean both got immediate redressing (Jean had her chest covered up), though I'd also say Jean's initial outfit was relatively tame.
There was speculation in the thread you posted that only those characters were changed because whoever was looking the designs did a quick and lazy once-over of the initial roster and told them "hey, this character specifically is not okay for this reason" and Hoyoverse went and only changed those specific characters rather than addressing the design trend causing the problem overall. That would explain why much more egregious characters slipped by.
A specific character being reported again makes me wonder if this time the censors won't look with a finer-toothed comb.
EDIT: My only other speculation is wondering if changing the characters' outfits would make Hoyoverse vulnerable to chargebacks under laws about changing content after release and if they asked for leniency on the limited characters because of that. That would explain why they only changed standard banner characters.

Oissu! Is it just me, or are they trying to make Signora into one of the "good Fatui" after the fact? First we had Arlecchino saying how she was nice to children, and now we have Columbina going "she was my best fwend
"
like, this was a woman who was fine with the whole of liyue harbour getting eaten by a sea monster, and who actively tried to exacerbate a civil war, and got killed because of her own arrogance and overconfidence
(Also don't think I haven't noticed that if this is case, it means the list of "good" Harbingers includes all of the women)

Bewitching EyesWhile they are going out of their way to make Signora look better, I wouldn't say she's "good" now. She was still a haughty and arrogant person, she just wasn't completely bad. Apart from Dottore and maybe Pantalone, I don't think any of the Harbingers are going to be completely evil. We already know Pulcinella takes care of children and is the closest Harbinger to Childe, even if he's involved in a power struggle with Arlecchino.

Oissu!Technically it means every Harbinger we've personally met is a "good one" except the Doctor but I'm not putting it past Hoyoverse to redeem him too.

I think it's more that their take on the Harbingers these days has been more "the Harbingers are people too!" vs the early days where they were set up more as a gauntlet of pure-evil vaguely eldritch anime villains.
Columbina's whole thing, in particular, is more "yeah, the Fatui sucked, but the Harbingers were sorta my family, y'know?"
Edited by KnownUnknown on Sep 17th 2025 at 1:26:13 AM
I'm guessing that they didn't expect the Harbingers as a group to be as popular as they turned out and course-corrected. Hence only Signora getting killed off unceremoniously early, Dottore getting a hotter redesign, and all the retconning of their personal evilness.

Does anyone actually read these?Signora was in on the deal with Zhongli, she was aware they were never in any danger and he was going to step in if it got rough. She wasn't part of the delusion schemes either, that was Pierro, she was just there for the Gnosis.
Signora is pretty much the messenger, the clean up crew. She's not particularly heinous but outside of Pantalone she's the only one there doing her damn job of putting the Gnoses together like exodia.
Ey, migi vuru?Part of it might also be that initially they seemed to be intent on going full steam on the Fatui as the mains villains (with the Abyss Order being the secretive, background but more dangerous threat), with the first few regions especially being very much "you go to a new region, you face a new evil Fatui plot and meet a new villainous Harbinger, just when you think you've defeated one there's another even worse one one coming in." Kind of a Villain of the Week format with Harbingers, where the Fatui's schemes dominate every region and the Abyss Order acts behind the scenes.
They honestly initially felt like a group of villains from a long-running anime, where there's constant escalation as a new, potentially even eviller and more powerful Fatui pops up, each of them had a very specific villain archetype, etc.
But then as the years went by that presumably got old and just sort of lost steam, and while there are stil new Harbingers showing up in every Region, it's less "and now face a new Harbinger with a new diabolical scheme!" and more "the region has it's own plotline, and the Fatui are there doing their own thing too." Inazuma was more or less the last hurrah for how the Harbingers were initially handled, which I guess makes it fitting that it's also where Signora was killed off.
To be fair, Sumeru's Fatui plot is quite interwoven with the rest of the narrative. Afterwards it is kind of just "the Fatui are here too doing their own thing".
Oissu!![]()
True, but for the first time they're not bushed as the real Big Bads orchestrating everything (they're involved, but more in an ensemble sort of way), and it's the first time we see Harbingers at odds with the Fatui's objectives as a major plot point, with Wanderer's taking over the plot and becoming the Final Boss instead being pushed as a personal vendetta that he splits from the Fatui to accomplish, with Dottore instead being more of a schemer on the sidelines.

Somebody better tell the Fatui PR department about their big scary base in Nod-krai while their soldiers go and call the locals savages.
Personally I think the Fatui are acting as Hoyoverse intended, it's just this company has an inconsistent and alien approach to morality in this story.

According to Capitano, the Harbingers are allowed to pursue their personal agendas ahead of the Tsaritsa's greater goal, which is why it was fine he wanted the Pyro Gnosis for personal use.
Signora was basically the only one collecting Gnoses because she wholeheartedly believed first and foremost in the Tsaritsa

Bewitching EyesWhich is writer speak for "we can do whatever we want with these characters and it doesn't have to make sense."
A big karmic debt is coming to the Tsaritsa but this nagging voice in my head keeps saying it will be Raiden Shogun 2: Cryo Boogaloo
Despite what Dainsleif says, it does seem that the Tsaritsa is a pretty decent person to work for. At the very least, the Fatui seem to view her with a great deal of reverence.
Bewitching EyesPaimon emotionally manipulating Jahoda the entire event is hilarious, especially the first time when the Traveler catches on right away and doubles down.
Extra funny is how the whole plot of the event starts with the gang trying to stop Aino from going full psycho supervillain on all of Nod Krai, only for her to go full psycho supervillain in the end when everything else fails anyway.
Oooh, is this the first event where the minigame quests not only interwove with each other, but actually all had a resolution that was important to the main story? That's a fun choice that I hope continues to be a thing for events going forward.
I wonder if we're going to see Aino's childhood friends at some point.

I'm so stupidly close to beating Stygian on Fearless but I can't beat the Fatui shield asshole or the drake without Furina (and you only get one Furina). And I don't have Chasca or Maulani for the drake like every guide I see online!
Hate hate HATE this stupid mode. Going to do something less painful, like the Last Judge in Silksong.

Aino's childhood friends are the Conch Gang. They're the kids who hang out at the Speranza in Nasha Town.
The RES procs at set intervals, determined by what element did the most damage. So it will always gain a 200% resistance at 75%, 50% and 25% health.
I'm very close to beating it with Mav and Navia, but it always has about 5% left. The alternative is trying to find a way to beat the Fatui guy without Furina, but until Flins comes out I don't know how to do that.

I'm trying to remember what exactly triggered this before. I think it might have been uproar about Raiden's outfit? Raiden also shows her underwear quite prominently (though she didn't end up censored/redesigned in the end)
Rosaria did have her breast size reduced, but that was done long before the uproar.
