Ah. Maybe cause I'm still in the beginning, I haven't seen that yet
I believe your resin cap goes up with Adventure Rank as well.
Edit: I stand corrected

It doesn't. Resin stays at 160 regardless of rank.
I accidentally got involved in the Hilichurl space program.◊
In every other gacha game, your freemium currency goes up with rank, making it less of an issue. Other games are also a lot more lenient with giving you ways to replenish it, such as through stamina potions.
If fragile resin was given out more often, I don't think resin would be such an issue. But it's not, so resin remains an issue.
Been hearing word that leveling up your World Adventure rating beyond AR 45 is a bad idea. Anybody grinded that high up yet and can confirm or deny those claims?
Haven't grinded up that far, but Childe/Tartaglia, an example of That One Boss, is partially That One Boss because he scales with World Level, which increases with AR in ...5-rank increments, I believe? 5, 10, 15, etc. I know it increases at 30 since I hit that recently. That may be it, plus the game is still relatively recent and a world where one has 45+ AR may just not be balanced properly yet.
I'm AR 46 and things seem okay? Haven't noticed all that much difference in world level 5 vs 6.

I'm flailing a lot less now! I'm still running into bosses too powerful for me and screaming for my life but I feel as if I'm getting better at the whole open world game thing. I'd say my only complication right now is that im not really attached to any character
It's great that you're getting more used to the open-world! Fun trick, if you get into a fight that you can't win you can just use a teleport waypoint to nope out of there.
About the characters, I can understand that - it does drag a bit in the beginning, but there are a bunch of sidequests you can do to flesh them out.
Imo Liyue's story is a lot more interesting than Mondstadt's. I'd suggest holding on until then.
I get the character thing. I have a feeling that'll get a little better with time. Although the current event has made me hate Fischl. I just hate her. So much.
I'm glad I pulled "Childe," however. Even if its the no effort version of his character.

x3 duly noted.
x2 Well I don't dislike anyone either so I shouldn't have a problem holding out (I still play granblue and the only character I loved for a long time was Percival). It's nice to hear that it improves overtime at least
Lol, I can't play the event, but a friend of mine told me that the character is kind of hard to understand most of the time

I find Fischl entertaining. Particularly because Oz ends up translating her speech into something normal if Paimon doesn't work it out. And who dislikes having a raven with a badass voice chat at them?
I'm almost certain Fischl has some sort of mental disorder. She's so dense as to how her behavior comes off towards others - even to the point of offending them, like with Mona - that I'm thinking she might be incapable of "reading the room", in terms of daily interactions, so to speak. (didn't want to stay "autistic", but...)
Oh, and some more free primogems are up for grabs again! Just visit their website and type in GOLNXLAKC 58 to get 50 primogems.

There appears to be some sort of trauma involved with her getting Oz and her Vision, as evidenced by her background. Judging by her trailer it likely didn't end up with her becoming an orphan, but something happened that completely solidified her chuuni delusions.
The way it's written and the fact that the story version of Oz was summoned by blood sacrifice suggests attempted suicide.
Oh, has anyone seen the 1.2 update leaks?
Not yet. Got a link?
Here ya go.
For the link wary: Albedo (Geo) and Ganyu (Cryo) added as characters (weapons unknown). The Dragonspine (between Mondstat and Liyue) region will be added. A new Ruin type enemy will be added. A new activity called treasure hunting will be added. No new Archon Quests will be added.

So finally we're being allowed to explore that snowy mountain peak. And I bet that canyon to the east of Liyue is next up in line for becoming an explorable region.
So how does one unlock Fischl from the event, exactly? Is she just a completion reward or what?
Complete the event questline, clear 14 meteorite remains, and clear 7 fallen star challenges. Once you finish all that, Fischl joins your crew :)
Anyone know about how many total primogems the Liyue storyline gives you? Still kinda debating whether to wait for Zhongli or get Childe now and reset last minute, since Iím right about at pity. Pretty much the only sources Iíve been getting them from so far are the Spiral Abyss and dailies.
Think of it this way: you already know that Childe is a ranged/melee hybrid DPS hydro power-house with rave reviews for those with him. Zhongli is a polearm Geo DPS, but we don't know his exact stats yet, meaning that he's something of a gamble. Thus, the logical bet is to acquire the 5-star hero with a proven track record.
