I think you're the only one suffering here.
In seriousness, just because we aren't beating each other up over it doesn't mean that we don't recognize what we did as wrong and won't let it happen again. If we never learn anything unless we associate it with unpleasant experiences then school should have students whips themselves with belts after every lesson.

Forum signature.Guma, most of us are already fully aware that we messed up, and we know it won't happen again especially as this was a very niche situation and we convinced ourselves with logic that we now know is faulty. I'm extremely sensitive to guilt tripping so can you please stop insisting we hate ourselves forever over this? That's not a productive way to go about anything and it looks kind of "woe is me" which even the mods probably don't appreciate.

I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.I feel legit bad for what I did, but you know what, I learned from it. We all learned from it. All that matters is if you're willing to own up to it and rebuild trust. Continuing to guilt trip helps nobody.

This.
Honestly Guma, not only are you making feel worse about it, but I am getting genuinely worried that you're taking being an idiot on the internet as if you've committed a legitimate crime.
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢I do believe what I've done is stupid and we need to learn from it, but I don't think I'd take it that far. The Timeline thing as a historical note and discouragement for the future I wrote earlier should be adequate.

Rock'n'roll never dies!Guma, don't let that incident stick with you. Don't let it wonk you. Have good faith. Shake it out. Let it go.
ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔|I DO COMMISSIONS|ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔Yeah, it was a dumb moment but at least it was quelled fairly early and didn't turn into anything overly personal. We've had worse incidents. I'm just glad the mods didn't let it go on for the full three days.

I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe."But I just want to know how to let go of this incident without forgetting about it."
Learning a lesson from an embarrassing situation will remind you of that situation. Embarrassment begets learning, begets growth. So long as you don't ignore the lesson, you'll never forget the incident that spurred the growth. Self-flagellation does not permit growth because it stops you from learning anything from the situation. Just try to learn from the situation and then move on with your life and you'll never really forget.
Look at all that shiny stuff ain't they prettyRight. We'll never forget this; if anyone here does someone else will remind them about it. But remembering isn't the same as not forgiving. Remember that old saying, "Forgive, but don't Forget?" Well, apply that to yourself, Guma- same for the rest of us.
Also, we're all in this together. We got ourselves into this mess together and that's also important to remember. Mob Mentality is an insane drug; most of us were convinced it was just good fun until we woke up to be told that, no, it wasn't all just good fun and it lead to actual consequences. But the mob doesn't need to be shamed, and we don't need to shame ourselves; we know we did wrong.
So let's just look toward the future. How can we improve?
Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallI only commented twice, but I can see how it could be rude and not funny the way I put them.
Only 20 away from Mario Pissing let’s goooo
This is basically a celebration of someone’s failure. That‘s just really mean to the person who made the trope, hoping to get it accepted.
Saying “Gay” is a trope is like saying “Girl” is a trope. It’s more of a classification.
While I think the first one is where I went wrong, I can still see something bad it this one. Again, I didn’t apologize or say sorry for any of this. I came off a little cocky.
Overall, I’ve learned from this mistake. Even when something looks like good fun, it can hurt the person who makes it, and you might actually be making fun of them.

- One thing would be to have holler buttons on a TLP draft to use if the OP is being defensive over a poor draft, or we know it's a troll.
- Host should get privileges to put the launch/discard buttons on hold.
- There should be a signup system for drafts declared Up for Grabs. The potential new host should have contributed to the draft in the last 48 hours and must express clear intent to maintain the draft.
- With the new engineer position awaiting, TLP engineers can facilitate approving new draft hosts and possibly be able to recieve TLP hollers.
One thing was that the First Scottish Draft was a works page made by a newbie, and the odd title just caught everybody off. Also, did the first draft stem from venting on Ask The Tropers? Also, it just flew past the mods' radar.

Rock'n'roll never dies!Would've this gone by without consequence if people just joked about bombing in the comments than deface the draft with LGBT jokes?
(For future reference, all I did was bomb, comment "Move to Funny.TV Tropes?", then comment the next day when seeing the defaced draft "Have a Gay Old Time?", and then post this Sonadow picture
◊ as "the final closing note" after a mod stepped in. Okay, that last one was stupid.)

Not sure, but apparently Mario Pissing only squeaked by because they didn't know about it? That's what I heard at least.

Try listening to this.
