You know how a trope needs to be common enough to be a trend on multiple pieces of media, but also have enough meaning to affect the story in a way that defines it? Well, not on my watch, it doesn’t. Post the name and description, and maybe even some examples, of a trope you’d never want to see on this wiki. It can be People Sit On Chairs, Too Rare To Trope, The Same But More (Specific), or any other violation of wiki policy. It can even be YMMV or Trivia, too!
Also, no references to Mario Pissing or Gay—especially not the latter. If you do that, I will holler your post. Please be original.
Without further ado, let’s begin.

When a character is reading or watching what first appears to be a thinly veiled allegory, but then it turns out that it's directly about a real In-Universe issue, and not intended to be an allegory for anything else in-universe.
Example, Alice is reading a book series to her child about crayfish that appears to be full of allegories for real-life issues, but then it turns out that the book's author owns crayfish, and those crayfish developed their own human-like society that the author decided to chronicle in a series of children's books.
