Well, considering the limitation of Rewind, she can't restore All Might right after restoring Mirio, anyway. It would take at least a week or a month maybe, before she can use Rewind again. Which also means no healing Izuku with Rewind. Unless controlled Rewind also means she can use it multiple times in short amount of time.

But if she does restore All Might, I can see just the embers being restored, the part he does still have after giving OFA away. Like, "here, your power is back, but it lasts for only a total of 5 minutes, so you can only use it when it's absolutely necessary".

Seriously, this wouldn't be the first time an overzealous fan stuffed the ballots with votes. Nisekoi had a case of a fan of Tachibana, "Y-San", buying eight-hundred issues of Jump just to get the ballots in them, then pretty much stuffed the ballots, allowing Tachibana to take 1st in the polls.

I have to wonder if this is the reason Shindo is in the Top 10 at all despite being absent from both mediums for over a year.

No, I hate to see it, and this just makes me think this poll is one of the worst there was.

A more recent case than Nisekoi: Yugioh had an official new card competition in twitter being redone in a special website instead, after people stuffed the poll using bots.

A bit unfortunate, but I've never really taken these sorts of polls ar face value since I assume there isn't anything like ranked voting or the like. Maybe the very top of these polls are relatively accurate to who the most popular characters are (even if not in the exact order), but I get the feeling the accuracy sort of falls down the lower down the list you go.

A lot of people forget that MHA is very popular with females, who are naturally more drawn to the attractive men.

Yes, but Bakugo got nearly double of the vote for #2.

Bakugo got nearly 15000, while Izuku at #2 is only 8115.

There's definitely vote stuffing going on, the difference is just too large.

Which is funny since I'm sure Bakugo would still be at #1 even without it lol

Ehhhh having a wide gap between certain characters happens a lot in a character poll.

The dramatic difference between no.1 and say no.5 can be massively staggering even in a series with far less people who vote on it.

There was apparently a person who paid 510,000 yen ($4808) on votes for Bakugo in the 2019 poll. Might have made a return for the 2020 poll but who knows

There's literally always a huge gap between #1 and #2 for like three years now.

And the Western Polls arent that different with time, just without as massive a gap.

I'm just sad Miruko is not in the top 10.

@Shining Stardust Not impossible or even that improbable, but I think the most simple and likely reason would essentially boil down to vote splitting.

Let's say hypothetical person #1 got 10,000 votes with hypothetical person #2 and #3 getting around 9,000 each.

The people who voted for #2 and #3 would put the other person as being their second choice with #1 being the their third choice or even lower. However, because of how the contest works, the #1 wins by having the most people who have them as their number one while not necessarily having the majority of people have them as their preferred choice or having an accepted compromise.
