Indeed. We've got quite the round here. We've got June and the IPS, the underdogs, in a way, of the winner's bracket and loser's bracket respectively, facing incredibly difficult challengers in Toriel and Neptune, and we've got the two unstoppable destroyers of opponents standing against each other in Link versus Trinity. And then there's Abu versus Mostima which looks like a tossup to me.

Sora vs Link is totally reminding me of that 1 Minute Melee episode.
Hope: "Let's go. We'll be together." Lightning: "I only know... that soon, we'll be together."The Future of the Tournament
As I stated before there will be winner and there will still be the prize that I advertised. I also intend to do a few writing stuff post-tournament but I don't expect it to be anywhere near the original tournament's MOJO site or anything like that. After the tournament inevitably falls into the abyss of the forgotten Forum Games, I'll be deleting the polls and the bracket, leaving the thread as the sole resource for what happened. I felt it would be fair to let you all know ahead of time.
On the other hand I've been hearing a different question that's been on a lot of people's minds lately, "Will There be a Sequel?"
Short answer, as it stands no.
See, when it comes to these community events coupled with the very nature of something like the Forum Games topic, it's a very go big or go home deal. I originally wanted to go big and to do that I'd need the help of the mods. Unfortunately, it's been brought to my attention they have made it very clear what they think of the Forum Games so that's a near impossibility. The only options left are to either make another lackluster tournament that only a few people care about and run it into the ground or pack up and go home once the party's over instead of desperately trying to continue it past its time.
It's a fun little forum game but in the end that's all it is and I'd rather focus my time and energy elsewhere. Like I stated before, I've also gotten accepted into bigger and more "official" projects so my passion can have more tangibility. I see absolutely no point in making a sequel.
That being said, if someone else wants to take up the mantle and make a spin-off or sequel then I'd have no problem with it and be willing to help if they'd so prefer.
Finally I'd just want to thank everyone who took part in this and especially those who have stuck with it to the end. I may not have had elaborate art or fancy arrangements to offer but I'm glad I could bring joy into people's lives with this and I'm very grateful for you guys for participating and giving this tournament a life of its own. Truly it would've been impossible with you.
Forum signature.Wahoo, that was fun! I'd like to thank everyone who had been supporting me and Link all this time. And Sora and friends may have lost, but my philosophy is that Second Place Is for Winners, so congratulations to them for making it this far! All in all, a great game, and I thank everyone involved in this game.

First, sorry, deleted. Second, oops.
