Great to see!
I'm about halfway through copying the descriptions over to the sandbox; the "Other Companies" need to be done, but the Big 5, Australian, Canadian, Greek, and Budget are done, and 4 pages from Anime that seem to be distributor-only rather than having a creator role (Anime Limited, GKIDS, Madman Entertainment, MVM Entertainment).
I've sent cutlist requests for these subpages:
- MadmanEntertainment.Anime And Manga
- MadmanEntertainment.Directors Suite
- MadmanEntertainment.Eastern Eye
- MadmanEntertainment.Film
- MadmanEntertainment.Live Action TV
- MadmanEntertainment.Western Animation
I don't know of tools to make that process easier, but it might help to copy the text output (with all the nice spaces) since that doesn't have Wiki Words. You could then use text processor that lets you insert characters in a specific position to insert brackets at the start and end of each line, saving on doing all that manually. (Does Mediawiki do namespaces like here, or just all in the same namespace? If it's the latter, you'd want to strip the Anime/, Manga/, etc.) If you just need a list, you won't even need to insert brackets.

Covered in Star Wars Cleanup, Deadpool, and Web Video sand. I'm not coarse and rough, but I get everywhere. Are you trying to make pages for each release at this point? Or just copying over the current information to one catalog page, to be divvied up later?
Thank you for keeping us posted!

Covered in Star Wars Cleanup, Deadpool, and Web Video sand. I'm not coarse and rough, but I get everywhere.I suggest handling the formatting later, and for now make yourself a backup of the page source as a text document. Then you won't have to rush to format it, and we can keep moving forward.
When you do make the tables (or whatever you end up doing), consider removing the "Note:" part at the start of every line, or change the word Note to be what type of note it is. It'll look better that way.
I've finished copying over descriptions to Home Video Distribution, and put in the cutlist requests for the subpages Trivia.Random House Home Video, Trivia.Shout Factory, YMMV.Shout Factory, Trivia.Scream Factory, YMMV.Scream Factory.
Covered in Star Wars Cleanup, Deadpool, and Web Video sand. I'm not coarse and rough, but I get everywhere.Though this is in the sandbox as well, putting it here to be clear what will be cut when the time comes, in case anyone wants to say "WAIT! I didn't think this meant XYZ!":

Covered in Star Wars Cleanup, Deadpool, and Web Video sand. I'm not coarse and rough, but I get everywhere.I've begun drafting the Useful Notes, but I need feedback to confirm what we're going to call it. Please give your thumbs up or down to these:
- UsefulNotes/HomeVideo
- UsefulNotes/HomeVideoDistributors
- UsefulNotes/HomeVideoDistribution
Glad to hear that! I saw the table format you have going, and it looks nice and easy to read.
Aside from what name to use, some other things we'll need to address:
- Are we using some kind of threshold for the inbounds to determine what the pages become?
- Are we changing wicks to the associated parent company (if it has one)? For instance, change wicks to Walt Disney Home Video into potholes for Disney?
- Are we turning any of the pages into redirects to the parent company/to the new useful note?
- When it comes to redirects, for the sake of the server, do we request a cut and then recreate as a redirect, or just replace the existing text with a redirect? (I don't know how the server storage stuff works)
If someone with more TRS experience than me (that is, more than 0) is willing to take charge on this step, I'd greatly appreciate it!

Draft for the useful note is now in the Home Video Distribution sandbox. Please feel free to correct any errors, and when the name is settled, it'll go live.
Covered in Star Wars Cleanup, Deadpool, and Web Video sand. I'm not coarse and rough, but I get everywhere.I'm a spreadsheet-maker for organizing things. I looked up the wick counts and inbound links, and the parent companies that we have pages for— but again, really would like someone else/group effort to handle that part of things, since I'm covering the useful note and the organizing.

I listed these before, but upon researching further, I found Shout! Factory (178 wicks, 1224 inbounds) isn't just a distributor— they produce original works. The current page, however, is focused on everything they've ever distributed instead of what they actually create. So I'm proposing instead that this page get an overhaul. As far as I can tell, their sublabel Scream Factory (7 wicks, 129 inbounds) is just a distributor and the page lists what they distribute; the description could be relocated to a section on Shout! Factory and either turn it into a redirect or just change the wicks. Yes/no/maybe?

Covered in Star Wars Cleanup, Deadpool, and Web Video sand. I'm not coarse and rough, but I get everywhere.I think when fixing wicks
- those with parent companies: unlink, unlink and remove any mention, or point to parent company, at discretion of whoever is cleaning up
- those without parent companies: unlink or unlink and remove any mention, at discretion of whoever is cleaning up
- the pages themselves: make redirects to the useful notes page if they have some threshold of inbounds. Maybe those with under 20 can be cut listed.
UsefulNotes.Home Video Distributors created.
I'm unclear if the main Home Video Distributors is supposed to get turned into a redirect to that, or get cut and let the wiki do the "Inexact title/We do have:" thing for inbounds?

I've just filed a wiki request to Miraheze.
