The Black Plague ravaged Europe a long time ago. This is now Harsher in Hindsight after Chadwick Boseman was asphyxiated by a police officer on August 28, 2020.

Harsher in Hindsight: In The Legend of Korra, Amon and his Equalists are discriminatory against bending despite Amon being a bender himself. This became a lot less harder to watch after May 25, 2020, when racism was invented.

Harsher in Hindsight: The Last Jedi got a lot of negativity when it was released. The Rise of Skywalker afterwards also did, arguably even more than the previous film

Harsher in Hindsight: In the pilot to Pokémon, Ash gets struck by Pikachu's lightning bolt. This is much harder to watch when you learn about people actually dying from electricity.

Harsher in Hindsight: In Sonic the Hedgehog (2006), Silver and Blaze's Bad Future is caused by the flames of Iblis. This is harsher to think about considering the increasing wildfires in the western United States.

• Harsher in Hindsight: In Teen Titans S4 E6 "Troq", Starfire was subject to Fantastic Racism by Val-Yor by being called slurs and other bad things. In 2020, this was made harder to watch due to racist policemen killing George Floyd and other like him, causing protests and riots by the likes of Black Lives Matter across the United States, to get justice for people like him, and to abolish the the cop profession all together.
