And Immortalartisan... I'd change some aspects of Damon's backstory. Remember, this game takes place in 1998, with the timeline diverging from ours only in 1962.
Now, if he was an Alhar - one of those Martian robots left over by the precursors (who they call the "Makers"), then his backstory would make more sense.

Brief Backstory: the son of an old veteran of space military Engineers union a group of some of the first space warship designers long since dead. Though Damon him self is still very much a military nut and hopes to follow in his fathers footsteps. And wonders if there is some new alien technology to be weaponized or studied
