Really good movie. I ended up watching it (back in 2006 I believe) because I saw Working Girl first, thought that was a really good movie and noticed that they had very similar plots too. In the past, I liked to cross the two over. Still kind of do.

Something that I always appreciated in the transfer from one medium to another. Is that they made both Andy and Miranda allot more likeable in the film compared to the book. Though again that might have a lot to do with the fact that it's hard to make both Anne and Meryl unlikeable.

Fan-Preferred Couple cleanup threadSo it's been 15 years since the film adaption first released. The cast reunited for Entertainment Weekly to celebrate. Man I feel old now.

Fan-Preferred Couple cleanup threadI watched the movie a while ago, and it was very good.
Optimism is a duty.
So I just recently rewatched the movie adaptation of The Devil Wears Prada, and I thought I would start a thread for it. Plus with the stage musical supposably coming out next year. I figured now would be the perfect time to make it. But seeing as it started out as a book I thought I would put it here. Even though I haven't read the book in a while, though I did like the book quite a bit.
So I was shocked by how much I still think the movie is good. I think most of that has to do with the script and performances. Which is no surprise given the movie's cast. And I wonder if they will adapt the sequel or make one that is not a adaptation. I mean the movie and book still have a huge fanbase to this day.
