To my understanding generally it's good form to have permission but it's also okay to edit a TLP page as long as you leave a summary of what you did in the comments.
Oh yeah, when in doubt don't be afraid to ask. They may have had a good reason to exclude yours and just not have said it (although they should have).

Forum signature.I tend to shy away from that, as do others, but it's not against the rules or anything. Sponsors just have the tendency to be a little protective of their drafts sometimes, as is understandable; but if you explain what you did in the comments, at least there's no confusion.
Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallMy personal rule is that if there’s an active sponsor, I don’t edit unless it’s fixable but missable stuff like grammar, wiki policy stuff like formatting, or tweaks to my own examples — and I always leave a note about what I did, just so there’s no confusion. I also really don’t like it when other people edit my drafts to add examples that I hadn’t “vetted”. It can be frustrating if a sponsor doesn’t update as often as you’d like, but I try to give them the benefit of the doubt — people can just be busy.
Ok, was this
the TLP you were talking about? 16 hours is a relatively short period of time...

I was wondering, because I have some examples on a TLP, but the owner has not updated it, so I’m wondering if it’s ok to edit it.
