Think that's how he used his magic...weapons before. (Argus explains to Aaren.)
(The head wizard picks up a very twisted-looking staff up off the floor.) These three fellows told us about a group carrying the Sapphire of Animor. One they said you were with. The three members of our crew tried to catch you all at the inn here in town, so don't even try to deny that you were around it. Do you still have it with you?
"Hey, least I didn't lose all my artistic talent when I crash landed in the arena here."It was part of a ploy to trap all of YOU. (The lead wizard says to Mitts.) You know, now that we know you all are here with Skull, we're not going to make that same mistake twice.
(He gears up to fight.)
I think now is our time to move! (Deborah says.)
"Hey, least I didn't lose all my artistic talent when I crash landed in the arena here."(The lead wizard seems ready for everyone to rush him and dives out of the way of both Ausk and Skull.)
(Meanwhile, the other wizards begin to close in on everyone (while the three thieves flee).)
Focus on getting the gem, wherever it is! (The lead wizard calls as he springs back to his feet and fires lightning from his staff.)
(Still mostly in hiding, Taki inches further out of sight, as does Andrew.)
"Hey, least I didn't lose all my artistic talent when I crash landed in the arena here.""Focus on getting the gem", you say? That's just what I'm doing. Silvia smirked and prepared to pounce on the lead wizard...
...then flinched back as Skull opened fire again. On second thought, maybe I'll wait a bit on that. I'll just try to help from here.
Quietly, she held up her rod, held her breath and focused on the ceiling. She created first a sound of cracking, then an image of falling pebbles and dust, and finally a large chunk of roof dropping towards the lead wizard - all fake, but hopefully convincing enough for him to try dodging.
I like cute things. You gotta deal with it.Somewhere outside of town
A good distance from where the sentry tower at the edge of town where the others are...
Lies a man. He isn't an ordinary man of course, rather, he is HIGHLY out of place for the time period. He is William Ash. And he currently is unconscious, unaware of the fact that he has just been temporally displaced. But he will soon.
June 27th(The lead wizard deflects most of Skull's shots but does take one hit in the shoulder. Upon seeing what appears to be the ceiling coming down, he does indeed dive out of the way, now leaving himself wide open once he realizes the falling ceiling was fake.)
(Two of the approaching wizards jump back when Ausk swings at them. The third one is too slow and gets knocked down. Deborah pins the injured wizard's arms down to make sure he doesn't grab his staff while Argus quickly kick it across the room. Argus then attempts to rush one of the still standing wizards, realizing too late that the wizard is already taking aim at him with his staff.)
Argus, hold it-! (Deborah shouts.)
Ack-! (Argus tries to dodge out of the way, but it's too late and he is directly hit by a magic beam from this wizard's staff. The beam causes the anglerfish knight to shrink from 6-and-a-half feet tall to two inches tall.)
AUGH! Help me! Help me! (The now tiny Argus shouts, quickly running away from all of the feet surrounding him. The phony sapphire he was carrying didn't shrink with him and now sits on the floor. The two wizards see the fake sapphire on the floor and, believing it to be the real Sapphire of Animor, both dive for it.)
(Meanwhile, Ben, Len, and Ken spot Andrew and Taki trying to hide from everybody as they themselves hide from the fight.) Let's get that kid while everyone else is busy! I bet he's still got it! (Len says, leaving his hiding place.)
Len, no! Stay over here! (Ken calls, but to no avail.)
(Taki sees the short thief threateningly approaching he and Andrew.) Whuh oh! (He grabs the kitten under one arm and starts attempting to climb up a nearby wooden support beam to get away.)
"Hey, least I didn't lose all my artistic talent when I crash landed in the arena here."Somewhere outside of town
The man wakes up.
Oh...where am I? That flash of light...then I blacked out...this isn't where I remember being last.
As soon as he regains enough strength to get to his feet he panickedly looks about him.
Oh shit my scythe, where is...
To his right is the scythe.
There you are.
He grabs the blade and reloads it into its holster. And here is where he finally realizes that something is very wrong.
Wait...the question isn't where am I....it's when...when the hell am I?!?!
His shouts may be heard by anyone nearby.
June 27thThe Woods
Nary a sound. The man realizes quickly that he’s gonna have to move now to figure out where he is. He starts forth, unsteady steps after unsteady steps for what seems like hours....
....until he finds he's only gone about 100 yards and discovers the plight he's landed himself in, evident by the definite Medieval Town coming rapidly into view.
....Oh no. If these people see me I may be as good as dead. They're going to think I'm some kind of evil wizard and that'll be the end of me! Gotta find help though, and fast.
He presses ever more closer to town.

June 27thSentry Tower
(Deborah dogpiles onto the two uninjured wizards along with Ausk.)
(Meanwhile, the head wizard attempts to roll over to avoid getting his pendant stolen by Silvia, but isn't fast enough. Silvia should be able to grab the pendant.)
Outside Stoneton
(The guards outside town see the fellow in the strange clothing approaching and immediately get on guard.)
Who are you??
"Hey, least I didn't lose all my artistic talent when I crash landed in the arena here."Outside Stoneton
(The two guards still seem very suspicious of this strange-looking man, but approach him cautiously.)
Uh, sure, just...come this way, please. (One of them says as they get on either side of the stranger.)
"Hey, least I didn't lose all my artistic talent when I crash landed in the arena here."Tower
Hypnos barges into the brawl.
"Oh my gosh, I'm sorry! I was supposed to protect you guys!" In a panic, Hypnos quickly waves his hands and summons a stream of tiny, floating stars. He can't seem to focus on a target, though.
These stars won't make everyone fall asleep. My idea is that the sleeping magic won't work until he focuses on a target.
Very good kittySentry Tower
Silvia gave the pendant a quick twirl before stowing it in a pouch. "See, you shouldn't leave your components in plain-"
She was then startled by one of Hypnos's stars hitting her. Her appearance flickered as a glamour was disrupted: For a split second, her features became even pointier and her ponytail jumped a couple feet downward. Once she went back to normal, she ran for a nearby window, both to get out of the line of fire and in case she needed to get herself or the pendant out of the tower quickly.
"...Shouldn't stop to gloat, either."
I like cute things. You gotta deal with it.
