This thread is meant to be a place for people to ask questions and request discussion about existing page images they have concerns about; this can be used to determine if a thread should be made to replace an image.
For example, questions about Just a Face and a Caption concerns, whether a picture requires additional context, whether a picture demonstrates all of the necessary aspects or a trope, or whether a trope better demonstrates a related trope can be asked here.
Mod edit: Before posting here, please check the page source to see if the page has previously been discussed in Image Pickin'. Your question may already have been brought up in a prior thread.

Is Nouveau Riche too caption reliant? I feel like this would be stuff old money might also do…

You’re Gonna Carry That Weight.Nah, old money is stereotypically less flashy and gaudy and more classic. It's the whole stereotype of someone throwing their money around (new money) versus someone who is born into wealth and is shown to be tasteful and responsible with it (old money).
Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallIs Symbiotic Possession relying too much on the caption to illustrate? Without looking at it I just kind of see a guy with a ghostly Superpowered Evil Side.
Ready to rock?Yeah that feels not only caption reliant but the caption itself is very clunky due to doing nearly all the explanation.
I like to try and leave that to the person who raised the question in these cases but sometimes it is good to do it on their behalf if you notice a slot open. If I do that I try to tag the person in the OP.
Started a thread for Symbiotic Possession here
. Thanks for offering to start it, though.

Ready to rock?Does Literal Data Transfer demonstrate the trope to none Halo fans? I think most people can see Cortana is a hologram but it feels a bit... random to me and and I am familiar with the franchise.
Maybe I already asked that but, does the Uncomfortable Elevator Moment pic shows that they are on an elevator ?
Is Fighting for a Homeland understandable?
I've looked over, but could find the image in better quality and the MMO is defunct.

No, I don't think those are clear.
I see a fight scene in a crammed elevator. It's definitely messy, but I'd say keep until there's a better suggestion.

I'm on desktop, and it looks clear to me. (Though that could be just me, of course.)
Uncomfortable Elevator Moment and Fighting for a Homeland, however, are not in the least clear to me.

There's too many men, too many people, making too many problemsNot sure it’s really clear what’s going on in Adopt-a-Prodigy. I’m pretty sure it’s mostly a battle sequence. Not much adopting.
You’re Gonna Carry That Weight.
Textbook JAFAAC. There's plenty of slots so I'll start a thread for it.
For The Great Repair:
Is it clear to anyone else what's actually being repaired? Or how it's illustrative of the actual trope? ("A character trapped somewhere must repair a vehicle to escape.") I don't see a vehicle or a need to escape.
Thanks for playing King's Quest V!

Adaptational Angst Downgrade feels more like how in Conan the Barbarian (1982) his family is slaughtered in front of him as a child and he is enslaved until he escapes as an adult but in Conan the Adventurer his family is turned to stone when he's already an adult and he sets off looking for a cure knowing one exists.
