This thread is meant to be a place for people to ask questions and request discussion about existing page images they have concerns about; this can be used to determine if a thread should be made to replace an image.
For example, questions about Just a Face and a Caption concerns, whether a picture requires additional context, whether a picture demonstrates all of the necessary aspects or a trope, or whether a trope better demonstrates a related trope can be asked here.
Mod edit: Before posting here, please check the page source to see if the page has previously been discussed in Image Pickin'. Your question may already have been brought up in a prior thread.

Does The Bore demonstrate the trope out of context and does the caption help make it clearer.
Fan-Preferred Couple cleanup threadI actually really like The Generation Gap; the imagery of an older and younger person arguing in the shades of the "hip" (for the day) younger person gets the idea across very well with little to no text. Gave it a quality upgrade; how's it look?

War Refugees isn't clear at all. The implications of The Bore's pic is that the other person died from sheer boredom. I'd give it a Keep Until Better Image Suggested, and having an image that doesn't rely on text (like a comic) is nice.

I agree with all of that, although I'm also open for a clearer image for The Generation Gap if it can be found.
I think we should include the shot of the goat eating the violin, as that's also part of the trope

Reading the trope description of The Generation Gap more closely, it turns out that a parent and a child arguing is explicitly not an example of the trope (as it requires a significant difference in values and ideas).
I think it means that the ship in the window appears at a weird scale - I think that the scale unintentionally makes the other ship too small. But yeah, it's really bad. I thought that was a TV screen at first.
Are you guys having trouble reading the text on Alternate Personality Punishment? I think the trope fits, but if other people are having as much trouble reading it as I do there might be a problem.
I wonder if alt-Bolfman's reaction "Well then... that was... rude" should be added as a caption or the image expanded to three panels to include it.
Luckily, My Shield Will Protect Me is more of a pose than demonstrating the trope. I suggest panel 1 or 1+2 of here
from Latchkey Kingdom, which sees a simple wooden shield No-Sell a katana.

I think the image on Awesome, but Impractical would fit better on Cool, but Inefficient note . Awesome, but Impractical is when something is really better, but its limitations make it impractical to use in practice, while Cool, but Inefficient is when something looks cool but has no real advantage. This huge shotgun is the latter, because it has no advantage over an artillery piece of the same caliber apart from looking cool.
Fjón þvæ ég af mér fjanda minna rán og reiði ríkra manna.5811 is an improvement
.
Yeah, Cool, but Inefficient is a better fit since ABI is for things that are meant to be used but it's difficult while CBI is for things that are purely Rule of Cool, like that truck.
Is Crime and Punishment Tropes a stock image?

Spellbound! Magical Princess Lil'Pri image is rather blurry due to low resolution. I suggest this
◊.
I'd rather not switch a poster looking image for a cast shot with no logo, I've found an upgrade of current instead and swapped it in.
Is it just me or is the rags part of Rags to Riches a bit weak? I mean he has slightly messy hair but he doesn't look that raggy to me? It could be just the kinda "eh" caption throwing me off though.
Technopath does not look duper clear. It looks like someone walking into traffic with barely visible magic tricks, especially since the cars glow blue instead of fuchsia like his magic, so it's not clear he is controlling the cars.
It looks fine to me. If an image could be one of two things and one of those things is explained by the trope name, then readers are going to assume that it's the thing explained by the trope name.
Is the fanart image on Romantic False Lead something that got permission? I was considering a new image thread because I clicked through and didn't see permission on the DA account/in the comments, but it had a thread not even a year ago
and it just doesn't make sense to do yet another if things are fine. (Also DA is weird to navigate now.)

I focus on obscure 1990s or graphic Middle Grade Literature novels and dolls. (She or zie, not they.)
Gotcha, thanks.
Is Slave Galley illustrative? I see no indication that the rowers are slaves.

Can you tell War Refugees are fleeing a war? They just look like sad impoverished people to me.
