This thread is meant to be a place for people to ask questions and request discussion about existing page images they have concerns about; this can be used to determine if a thread should be made to replace an image.
For example, questions about Just a Face and a Caption concerns, whether a picture requires additional context, whether a picture demonstrates all of the necessary aspects or a trope, or whether a trope better demonstrates a related trope can be asked here.
Mod edit: Before posting here, please check the page source to see if the page has previously been discussed in Image Pickin'. Your question may already have been brought up in a prior thread.

The joke is the claiming injuries on one’s girlfriend are merely the result of her “running into a door” is viewed as a thinly-veiled attempt to hide domestic abuse, but the comic depicts a girlfriend who really does run into doors. It’s not all that straightforward, but I think it works fine if nobody has anything better in mind.

I got it too, though I'm not sure that the reader should be aware of the common excuse of "running into a door". It's still a weak keep for me.
Edit: do we have a trope for this kind of excuse? If so, potholing to it in the caption might help.

I like the pun in the caption a lot, but yeah the "fun" part is pretty weak.
Your goateed philistine is sashaying towards us. | 🧱It's a happy overweight man, so it's not going down without a counter image.

The image for WhamEpisode.Odd Squad really only works effectively if you know the work in question. To those unfamiliar, it just looks like two characters reacting in shock to something offscreen.

In general, I think we don't like "the usual reaction to these moments" pics, but this is bad even on that scale since they're barely reacting.
is Troubled Child clear that the child is troubled, as in "has emotional issues?" It just looks like any old kid in danger.
Do we need permission to use the current on SayMyName.Video Games because I can't find the original source of the comic?

Here's the source
. Permission would be required, but the artist hasn't uploaded in 7 years. Though we ought to be using an image from, y'know, a video game, rather than a webcomic parody.
Is Lightworlder really illustrative? They certainly do look tall and lanky, but I wouldn’t necessarily associate that with “adapted to thrive in low-gravity environments”.

Works respecting Square-Cube Law are a rarity, so why can't it survive in our gravity isn't shown (it may not even be Earth with pterodactyls).
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupHow do people feel about The Generation Gap? I'd call it a textbook JAFAAC, except that I can kind-of make out two people arguing in those eye sockets. I'd still not call that particularly great or illustrative.

How does the image on Abuse Mistake relate to the trope?
