Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).…Honestly. It was too obvious and overdone. It’s called subversion of expectations.
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.I honestly think we won't be seeing any of the other Image guys, and that's why they kept Rae alive.
The world of Invincible will look really small without any of them, so they can't be killing off the few heroes they have left.

Thinking about it I think Techjacket's species or at least a similar bunch of mechanical aliens are important to the story so its possible the show will create expies for the characters they can't use.
I haven't read this part of the comics, how much did other characters contribute like during thr Invincible War?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."They actually did have a character from Techjacket show up - the Geldarian king - show up as a member of the Coalition's leaders, so he might be an exception to the "no spin-off and Image characters" rule. Which wouldn't surprise me, as he's by far the Kirkman-verse character who ended up playing the biggest role in Invincible, with only Brit coming anywhere close.
Surprising no one, Erza Miller has been recast with Eric Bauza. Source is Entertainment Weekly.

The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.Took their time with that one, huh?
Wake me up at your own risk.I thought Sinclair sounded different.
Twitter's gonna have a field day if they get around to adapting that scene with Anissa
And they were cast in season one right before all their controversies began to pile up.
So was Justin Roiland, actually.
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire. Not only that, they were in the same episode and directly interacted with one another... and they played characters that could be seen as really twisted parodies of the sort of people they got outed as being. Probably the one instance of the show getting so many big names for actors backfiring on it.
Donald talking down Rick from suicide was a great moment. As cliche as it sounds, it's nice to be reminded that you don't need to wear a costume to be a hero.
Is it wrong for me to think Mark might have had a better comeback for Anissa if he hadn't missed most of a college semester? And the sad part is she's actually showing some restraint compared to the last two times Mark deal with a hostile Viltrumite. In this moment. Yes, I am aware what she does in the comics.
I hope Conquest is voiced by John DiMaggio.
Yeah, Donald's character development is great. You kinda get the sense of him growing out of just being Cecil's toady and more his own man, maybe even a superhero in his own right.
On that note, it just occurred to me that Donald having been rebuilt numerous times as in the comics makes Cecil's reaction to him getting "killed" by Omni-Man at the end of season one... I'm not sure what the word to describe it is, but it's got a ton of possible layers. Sadness at the fact that he's gotta rebuild Donald and wipe his mind again? Putting on an act in front of Debbie so she doesn't realize Donald is already basically a brain in a robot? Both?
I mean, it was entirely possible Omni-Man was going to kill them all or that Donald would have nothing to recover this time, so that very well could have been genuine.
That makes sense.
They were only able to recover his brain this time because Omni-Man unintentionally shielded just enough of Donald's remains from the blast. I'm quite sure Cecil thought that this time, Donald was gone for good.
One Strip! One Strip!Double post.
I know Energy Blasts are supposed to be part of Eve's tool kit, but I'm wondering. Does she mostly just too tiny dart like blasts, or can she go full Kame Hame Hadoken if she pleases?
I figure she probably can, but likely doesn't bother very often since transmuting something into something else is probably more useful and most of the time she can't affect organic material anyway.
One Strip! One Strip!Well, we got it people A copyright-free version of Spider-Man, aka 'Agent Spider' voiced by Josh Keaton battling a version of Doc Ock
Batman was there, too.
Also, Episode 8 gives a bit of a conclusion to the discussion we had previously. Komodo Dragon didn't kill anyone.
Love the nod to Spider Verse. And the subversion of the running gag at the start.
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire. What we didn't see.
- Batman: I like to think of it as "to the point." And didn't you mention some of your heroes just use puns on their actual names?Invincible: That's.. fair, I guess.
A clip of the crossover moments:
"Isn't the name Batman kind of lazy?"
Mark, you work with an immortal man named Immortal.
Yes he's finally getting a win after literally being torn apart the last time he battled Viltrumites.
He's improved and they showed that improvement here by showing his body doesn't immediately cave if they punch him. Taking that like he's going to become Saitama is overexaggerating whats actually happened.
