Misused: Surprise Pregnancy

Bumping. Not involved in this discussion, anything left to do?

Yeah, I never got approval on the sandbox so I have no idea when we should do the swap, and when I should take Late Pregnancy Realization to TLP.

I also need more examples of Surprise Pregnancy so I guess we can start checking the misused wicks to add here.

The sandbox looks alright. I somehow missed it.

Most of the misused wicks on the wick check either don’t fit Surprise Pregnancy or is low on context.

But would this count?

That would be borderline; I'd park it on the discussion page.

Launching what, exactly? Swapping in the description? We can't do that without having the proper examples in place. We need to migrate the former definition to a Late Pregnancy Realization draft.

....No, it's Surprise Pregnancy that has a sandbox to rework into a different broader definition — Surprise Pregnancy New Def. You were right to move the current to TLP. You can restore the draft.

Added a few examples (mostly misuse from the main page) to Sandbox.Surprise Pregnancy New Def, and also added the TRS banner to the trope page.

There's a lot of examples on the new draft now, thanks to my time spent crosswicking from other pages.

How would we proceed? Do we wait for Late Pregnancy Realization to launch before swapping the draft in?

I think that would be the proper course of action

Just launched Late Pregnancy Realization, can I move the sandbox to Surprise Pregnancy?

I'm actually considering taking the Surprise Pregnancy sandbox to TLP for more feedback before swapping but I might just be paranoid because of how few people are in this TRS thread.

I'm good with it. However, we'll need to deal with the duplicate image issue.

Already took it to IP. It was my image suggestion anyway and I think it should stay on the new trope.

Any oppositions to the swap? I think after that we could close the thread, right?

idonom did the sandbox swap (though I wish they'd brought it up here first and not blanked the sandbox...), so what's left to be done besides wick cleaning?

So are we done now? Since we expanded the trope, there's probably not a lot of misuse to clean. Just changing wicks to the appropriate subtropes as we see them.

Eh it’s probably best to look the wicks anyways but if expanding alleviated a lot of the misuse concerns then maybe we don’t have to I guess.
