Recently, I found an unindexed subpage called Limerick.Percussive Therapy. It serves the exact same function as the Haiku/ subpages (i.e. a collection of poetry dedicated to a trope), only it's in a limerick form instead of haiku.

Since they're functionally the same, I moved the limerick to the Haiku.Percussive Therapy page and cut the other subpage. However I was told by Berrenta that the Haiku subpages is only for Haikus and not for other forms of poetry. The limerick has since been removed from the Haiku/ subpage.

So how can we deal with this? Should we create an index for every different forms of poetry in case tropers want to write odes to tropes that aren't Haiku? Should we expand the Haiku subpage to allow other forms of poetry?

Like I said on the other thread, I'm on board with the idea of having Limerick subpages, whether they're merged in with Haiku or kept alone.

We're TV Tropes, not TV Tropes and Amateur Poetry. It's really off-mission.

...So why are Haiku/ pages accepted then? What's the difference?

Grandfather Clause. I'd get rid of it if I could establish consensus.

In other words, your solution would be "disallow creation of ANY more odes to tropes" (regardless of form and namespace)? I mean, I'm fine either way. Just trying to see what the options are.
