Please go through these pages first before posting here:
- Work Pages Are a Free Launch: Yes, you can go and make a work page for something by yourself. This thread will also cover work page subpages (Characters/, Recap/, etc.) and Creator/ pages.
- How to Create a Work's Page: The basics on work page making, covering most things from the needed URL to putting the final touches on it.
- How to Collect Tropes: A simple guide on filling out your work page's examples section.
- How to Write an Example: How to write a good trope entry and avoid site no-nos like Zero-Context Example and incorrect Example Indentation.
Now that you've read all that, welcome! Making pages for your favorite works and creators is fun, but we get that there's a learning curve, especially for new tropers. This thread is intended to help people new to work-page making, and can cover anything and everything you aren't sure about after reading the relevant Administrivias: whether or not an example passes wiki standards, if the formatting and layout of your page is all right, if the summary is comprehensible, or if the page has enough meat to stand by itself. Or simply if you need a second pair of eyes to take a look at your work.
Things that this thread is not:
- A place to request work pages to be made - This Is a Wiki; if you are familiar with the work, then you are the best person to make the page. This thread is intended to be a peer review of work pages that are in progress or newly finished. If you feel like a work deserves a page but can't go about making it yourself for whatever reason, please list it in List of Shows That Need Summary.
- For help with trope-making: see the Trope Idea Sounding Board (for incipient ideas) and the TLP workstation thread (for existing drafts) for help on that.
- For image selection: you can generally go and put up an image of the work by yourself (go through How to Pick a Good Image first, though), but if you have two or more suggestions, pop by Image Pickin instead.
Now - post your babies (sandboxes, new pages, TLP drafts, etc).! We are here to help. :-)

The image caption is a little redundant, but otherwise, the page looks good.
Hi. Didn’t know this thread existed until right now, but I created Webcomic.Name Removed a week ago and I would like some feedback.
I moved the website into the comic's name in the first sentence. Other than that, it looks pretty good just on a quick skim.
Just made Webcomic.Trans Girl Next Door after discovering and binge-reading the comic. I don't love is the image I chose (it's the closest thing to a cover image I could find, taken from her Facebook) and the bare-bones description, but otherwise does it look okay?

I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.Yes. Don't forget to crosswick.

It had that issue where the image quoteright is off by one pixel making it blurry; I just fixed it.
I'm still in the trope-gathering process here so the page isn't done yet, but I could use help with the description for When The Darkness Comes. I only have two sentences so far.

Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessIs there a "plot" of sorts to talk about?
Not really? The player starts the game and ends up at the "welcome" screen you see in the image, which the narrator intended to be the only thing in the game- a bunch of confetti and then you leave. You stick around and after he realizes you aren't able to leave, he just inserts you into different worlds of different games he's creating, you end up in some weird, frightening environments to simulate different aspects of anxiety and depression, and then eventually you get to the ending.
It's a "Walking Simulator" so you don't do much of anything but follow the path you're on, because the actual game is all in the environments and Psychological Horror aspects more than any actual plot.

Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessNot quite sure this is the place for it, but does anyone here understand the history of the Atari brand? I'm trying to figure out where Centipede (1998) goes. That Other Wiki says "It was published by Hasbro Interactive in 1998 under the Atari Interactive brand name."
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing. That sounds like description food to me
Big ol' shrug from me on that one, sorry.

I guess I just don't want to spoil any of the environments or changes that occurs...I'll figure it out.
Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessHere's my suggested expansion based on what you've provided:
"Walking simulator" can also be expanded with gameplay (point and click? arrow keys?).
You mostly walk. Sometimes you press buttons or click to open a door, and there's a segment about alarm-clock collecting, but most of the game is walking forward.
It's similar to The Stanley Parable.
Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessHello there, I'm making Recap subpages for the two Malaysian animated series' BoBoiBoy and Ejen Ali and I'd like some feedback please. I haven't posted them yet, they're in this sandbox of mine. Ignore the top folder.
- I'd like to know when it's best to post them. Is that many redlinks an iffy move or can I post them and allow work on those pages later?
- I'm not too sure if I should add each series' respective movies to these recap pages since many included tropes are on their main / (Animation) pages
- Last thing, how do you alter the titles on the pages themselves? So that BoBoiBoy doesn't display on the top of the page as Bo Boi Boy, also how to add hyphens or apostrophes to those titles.
Edit: I should clarify that BoBoiBoy Galaxy is a sequel series to the original series of BoBoiBoy. Also that I'll add the index brackets later when I post these.
Thank you!

Yes, that looks like a standard recap page.
1. Redlinks are allowed in indexes but note that every time you create a page from there you have to either blank-edit the index page or the page type (found in the sidebar). Otherwise the indexing will not work.
2. There isn't any rule against it but you don't have to put the films on there. Note that films are not covered by the Recap/ Spoilers Off rule.

Alright, thank you so much for the feedback and answers! 👍 One more question, after making their recap pages, I should be removing them from the Main/Recap page where they are under the list of requested recap pages, right?

I made a works page (Kill It with Fire) a while ago, and I (along with some others, of course ) have edited it a bit since then. Any help or feedback is appreciated.

Ok bitch it's Weezer and it's WeezyLooks okay.
I see some context issues in the examples. It's not enough to say "is this" or "this happens", you have to precisely explain how all aspects of the trope show up in the work. See Zero-Context Example.
For example:
- Nightmare Retardant: Adam seems to find many .EXE Games to be this.
What is "this"? It would be better to summarize exactly what he says on the matter.
In addition, as he is a reviewer, you can link In-Universe for YMMV tropes as long as you clarify you are talking about his opinion.

I could use help in attempting to describe this show's plot. The first episode has a pretty non-linear storytelling style to it (something I'm admittedly not used to) and I'm having trouble trying to describe it. If anybody else on here has seen this series I could appreciate some help.
Note that Heterochromia is a disambiguation page, not a trope like it once was. If the example doesn’t fit any of the tropes listed on there, then just delete it entirely.
back lolThe House of Asterion. I finished this article a month ago, about one of my favorite stories of Borges. Could I get a review of it? I'm not used to reviewing literature.
I was also working on other drafts...I should really finish them.

To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back.
Looks good.
