So over 10 years ago or so, we used to have a newsletter called Trope Report, which covers all of the changes that happened on the wiki weekly. I have been nostalgic for it recently so I thought of it and it seemed to be a fun way to inform tropers about the changes going on around the wiki.
The sandbox for the project can be found at Sandbox.Trope Report Dummy Edition and the sandbox for ideas/plans can be found on Sandbox.Trope Report Ideas. After a new issue is published, revert the Dummy Edition back to a template using the text on Sandbox.Trope Report Template.

For March, I was planning to suggest the Whirling-In-Rags from Disco Elysium when planning for that newsletter started, since the game takes place in March. But yeah, it's a good fit for April. (We're deciding too much too quickly)
The restaurant, by the way, is officially called Tony's Restaurant
.
Oh, and the Moulin Rouge suggestion was due to the "love love love love love love love" meme.

I'm okay with either Moulin Rogue or Tony's Restaurant, or anything else anyone comes up with in the next month that's a better fit.
I'm all for saving DDLC for April.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.I'm watching Jack right now my man
And yeah, the bio jokes will never not be fun for me. One day we might need to make a work page just to catalogue the ever growing lore of our characters.
Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallYeah... Already got two entries in and the signature. I think mine's pretty original.
Currently mostly inactive. An incremental game I tested: https://galaxy.click/play/176 (Gods of Incremental)Wrote my entry for Kikuo. How's it look?
- Kikuo is a musician who is very prominent in the Vocaloid scene, often utilizing Hatsune Miku in his works. His songs are characterized by experimental, lush, and vibrant electronic and pop compositions mixed with lyrics that range from morbid and horrific to tragic and depressing, touching upon hard topics like loneliness, abuse, and death. He received a large surge in popularity circa 2020, with one of his songs "Aishite Aishite Aishite" receiving over 46 million views on YouTube! Despite this, he, like many other Vocaloid-related producers, doesn't have a page on this site yet.
For New Tropes, I'm considering writing an entry for God of the Moon. February is Chinese Lunar New Year, so an entry about the moon seems fitting.

SING TO ME, LEND ME THE SONG OF BLASPHEMYHere's my entry for God of the Moon. How is it?
- With Chinese Lunar New Year occurring on the first day of February this year, it's good to note the importance the moon has in many cultures over the course of history. As many cultures have their own religions, it's no surprise that much of them have a God of the Moon. Lunar deities tend to be associated with cycles, darkness, water, madness, and mystery, with either fickle attitudes as consistent as the moon's phases or calm and serene, yet distant demeanors, like the moon's soft faraway glow. Very often, they serve as a contrast to the sun deities of their respective pantheon, with them often being siblings. Their relationship is usually amounted to a fierce rivalry with a major feud that explains why a certain natural phenomenon relating to the sun or moon occurs. While an ancient trope dating back to Proto-Indo-European Mythology and having many representatives in fiction, this trope was just recently launched on December 20th.
Looks good! You might be able to pothole Night and Day Duo where you mention their relationship to sun beings, but that's just for flavor.
I added the Ludvig Strigeus entry under Works that Need a Page, thoughts? I'm unsure how much I should say about the specific programs.
I just made a page for They Came Together, which will fit perfectly in the New Work Page section for February as it's a romcom parody.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe. It slightly annoys me that Epistory Typing Chronicles cannot be custom-titled, so I think I'll add an entry for it. If not February, then March.
I could definitely play that in the future, as I have accounts on both Steam and Big Fish Games... sadly my B key is broken right now (and my I key is malfunctioning, but my T key works just fine), so my Typing Game
draft is a result of a Deaf Composer... Worth adding for sure.
As for Ludvig, I think the entry's fine, nothing really seems like it needs to be added there.

Tony's Restaurant sounds good to me!

SING TO ME, LEND ME THE SONG OF BLASPHEMYHow's this write-up for the sponsor?
For the signatures, I think mentioning what sections we wrote for each issue is fine.
SING TO ME, LEND ME THE SONG OF BLASPHEMYStumbled upon In and Out of Character, with a piddly eight examples on the page. It's a tropeworthy concept (someone's out-of-character behavior while roleplaying affects the story or is otherwise remarkable) and shouldn't be hard to find examples for 'cause TV Tropes is full of roleplaying, gaming nerds and therefore works about roleplaying, gaming nerds, right?, so I've added an entry.

Literature Club is a good one, but since they mostly do poetry I wonder if we could save it for, say, March and tie it into Limericks or something.
Nah, it's probably better for February. Actually I just looked it up, and April is poetry month... That, plus the twist, could make it a good fit for both April Fools and Poetry Month.
