So over 10 years ago or so, we used to have a newsletter called Trope Report, which covers all of the changes that happened on the wiki weekly. I have been nostalgic for it recently so I thought of it and it seemed to be a fun way to inform tropers about the changes going on around the wiki.
The sandbox for the project can be found at Sandbox.Trope Report Dummy Edition and the sandbox for ideas/plans can be found on Sandbox.Trope Report Ideas. After a new issue is published, revert the Dummy Edition back to a template using the text on Sandbox.Trope Report Template.

From going through my Followed tab, One Steve Limit
, Common Hollywood Sex Traits
, and Three-Way Sex
are all currently in TRS, so that might go into the Changelog?
They go into the changelog when we actually know what's being done to them.
Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallBut wouldn't this mean the "adjustments" from January are being put out for the February newsletter instead of the January one being corrected? Or am I misunderstanding?
I'm going to go with the new image on Muggle in Mage Custody if there's no objections. I'll have that written up either tomorrow or Monday evening.
(it shows a header that it's being discussed, but the thread for the image is in the morgue
.)

I focus on obscure 1990s or graphic Middle Grade Literature novels and dolls. (She or zie, not they.)Write up for the Image of the Month.
This issue's featured image comes from Beauty and the Beast, and illustrates Muggle in Mage Custody.
Mages in media have both the skills and ability to make those without magic be under their thrall — whether it's for control, punishment, enslavement, or mere amusement. The magicless muggle that's caught their attention has no control over when or even how they can break free of their enchantment and has no choice but to go along haplessly until they either fulfill the conditions of the magic imposed on them (or the mage gets bored and leaves them be).
The stained glass opening from the animated Beauty and the Beast demonstrates this in a series of still images. After rudely denying an enchantress stay in his house for being an ugly old woman, the haughty prince is seen begging and pleading on his knees for mercy that the enchantress won't be giving after he's failed her Secret Test of Character. Even as she transforms him with a touch of her wand, it's all with an unchanging expression that shows who's really in charge here. He may be a prince with all the money in the world, but she's got the magic and he can't stop what she's doing other than pleading. She's put him in a bind he can't break and he won't be freed from her custody or his beastly form until he does as he's told for once. Even if the enchantress isn't physically there to have a hold on him, her curse on the prince's head drives the whole of the story. The soon-to-be-Beast will stay in her magical hold until she thinks he's learned his lesson about what matters inside.
Look at her, she's in charge now. And there's nothing he can do but accept his fate.
The uploaded January Trope Report isn't locked like all the other Trope Report Pages. Can that be fixed?

I focus on obscure 1990s or graphic Middle Grade Literature novels and dolls. (She or zie, not they.)Here's a write-up for both, including a replacement write-up for Set the World on Fire:
- Set the World on Fire is currently being discussed due to being a stub, having a 3-sentence description that only consists of generic examples, subsequently leading to its wicks mostly being potholes and confused usage in general owing to the trope's unclear definition. Initially dewicked with the expectation of being cut, but other solutions are now being considered. TRS thread here
.
- Me's a Crowd is currently being discussed due to its usage not fitting the definition and showing signs of redundancy with tropes like Self-Duplication, owing to its scope being too narrow and the title not being indicative of this scope. TRS thread here
.
Since I was mentioned, here's one for Forumwatch:
- As a part of TV Tropes' upcoming app, the long-broken Badge Shop was finally fixed, with the ability to attach badges being limited (so far) to the app as an incentive to download it. If you're interested in learning more, or if you have some ideas for badges of your own you'd like to contribute, come on over
to the dedicated thread!
Go ahead!
As for PNH, I found Jason Simpson. I would rather let someone else do a write up for it since I don't wanna hog up the Report and wanna give another troper a chance.
She/Her | Currently cleaning: N/ATBH going forward I'd say we don't necessarily "need" to fill out sections like the changelog. I mean, there's probably things to add this month, but I don't want us to feel like if we have nothing that we're forced to wait. Sometimes I think we can just skip a section if we have nothing to add to it that month, especially if it's something like the changelog that requires us to have updates worth mentioning.

Since I got mentioned above, I don't have anything to add for this issue, I'll add something next time.

Your receipt. You can keep the freakin' change.

How's the Image Pickin cap
thread for Forumwatch? While the matter was technically settled, the debate was revived recently due to concerns the 75-thread cap still isn't enough.
Could I plug it, or should I pick another thread? Also thinking of plugging the badge thread
now that the app is out.
