So over 10 years ago or so, we used to have a newsletter called Trope Report, which covers all of the changes that happened on the wiki weekly. I have been nostalgic for it recently so I thought of it and it seemed to be a fun way to inform tropers about the changes going on around the wiki.
The sandbox for the project can be found at Sandbox.Trope Report Dummy Edition and the sandbox for ideas/plans can be found on Sandbox.Trope Report Ideas. After a new issue is published, revert the Dummy Edition back to a template using the text on Sandbox.Trope Report Template.

I made a write up for Hironobu Kageyama
- Just as Ichiro Mizuki was considered the King of the Anison World, Hironobu Kageyama is considered its Prince. A Japanese musician from Osaka, he got his start in the band Lazy, before pursuing a solo career. His first anison project was providing several themes for Dengeki Sentai Changeman, and since then, he has been a prominent anisong singer, providing themes for such shows as Dragon Ball Z, Saint Seiya and Choujin Sentai Jetman. He also has a voice acting role in the GARO franchise, and is a founding member of the Anison supergroup JAM Project. Despite his fame in the anison community, he hasn't got a page, so maybe it's time to fix that.
I'll have an entry for new tropes once my trope in process, Kwanzaa Representation, launches on the 1st.
I focus on obscure 1990s or graphic Middle Grade Literature novels and dolls. (She or zie, not they.)I'm interested in writing an entry for works that need a page! Not sure if there are still spots left tho.
Ok im back ... | Check my strawpage :3
oh, ok!
anyways I'm planning to make an entry about Super Cat Tales for the works that need a page section. It will be probably done in a few days but I'm occupied with some homework
Just launched Fantastic Fromage, would like to add it to December's report if it's not too late. Something like:
- Cheese, in one form or another, is popular at nearly every type of holiday gathering. Given it's immense popularity in real life, it's not surprising that creators like to flavor their fictional worlds with all manner of Fantastic Fromage, launched on December 2nd. If you know of any fictional cheeses with fantastic qualities, feel free to bring some by the trope pot luck on that page.
Looks alright
you can add it to the New Tropes section under Disturbing Deer.
For Creator page for Pages Needing Help, since Berrenta mentioned her:
- The 10th of December marks the birthday of Janny Wurts, a fantasy author from Pennsylvania. She's known most for her series works such as The Cycle of Fire and Wars of Light and Shadow, the latter of which concluded this year after an extensive run since the 90s. However, her creator page has yet to list her several standalone stories, and her advice quoted there besides her portrait is the most inspiring feature in the page's current state. It doesn't need to be as long as a novel, so how about spare a little wiki magic to help it grow?
Hope no one minds if I go ahead and add this to the sandbox, I intend to take a break (a day or 2).

When you're alone I'm reaching out to let you know that you're far from strangers, like the savior
Looks good!
For PNH - Tropes, Reverse Psychology Marketing?
Edited by Berrenta on Dec 2nd 2024 at 2:14:05 PM
Changelog also needs more entries. Ping me later and I’ll see what I can do.
Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining | Troper WallI can take a crack at the intro this time around; I'll write something within the hour.
As for the sponsor: Steven Toast? I feel like doing something involving Matt Berry for some reason
Your goateed philistine is sashaying towards us. | 🧱I can see us doing something with an actor; works for me.
Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallOn second thought, I'll shelve Reverse Psychology Marketing (the idea I pitched for Pages Needing Help) for April Fools, with the writeup I had in mind.
As an alternative, One Normal Night?
Added Raisins Are Revolting, since I'm not sure the one I'm working on will get out in time.
I focus on obscure 1990s or graphic Middle Grade Literature novels and dolls. (She or zie, not they.)Suggesting this for works that need a page:
- Tortilla Heaven is a 2007 comedy film directed by Judy Hecht Dumontet, starring José Zúñiga, Creator/Olivia Hussey, and George Lopez. In a small town located in Mexico, Isidor Navarro runs the sole restaurant called "Tortilla Heaven" that ends up becoming the center of attention when a burnt tortilla suddenly ends up depicting the face of Jesus Christ himself, causing the community to be turned upside-down as they believe the tortilla will bring them nothing but miracles. When said "miracles" soon threaten the town's namesake, Isidor has to choose between prominence for his tortilla keepsake or reminding the town what they used to be.
Demon Works has been turned into a redirect to Our Demons Are Different due to tropeworthyness concerns that plague the Works by Subject index. TRS thread here
.
A bunch of other Works by Subject indices got redirected, too.

~The Tropper. You need to make entry for yourself on the 'Known the Contributer' section.
