So over 10 years ago or so, we used to have a newsletter called Trope Report, which covers all of the changes that happened on the wiki weekly. I have been nostalgic for it recently so I thought of it and it seemed to be a fun way to inform tropers about the changes going on around the wiki.
The sandbox for the project can be found at Sandbox.Trope Report Dummy Edition and the sandbox for ideas/plans can be found on Sandbox.Trope Report Ideas. After a new issue is published, revert the Dummy Edition back to a template using the text on Sandbox.Trope Report Template.

I hope this doesn't come across as too demanding of me, but in the future it would help me out a ton to get some reasonings to go with the votes (in this case specifically it's not necessary since plaky already summed it up about right).
Since I've been the one who ultimately chooses the pic, the votes don't mean much other than knowing what people like, but actual reasonings help me make an informed decision on the subject. Think of it as a debate rather than a democracy, basically.
Anyway, I'll get to the entry tomorrow since I have stuff to do the three days after that.

He has returned, but WHY?Ooh, I completely forgot that we should update the logo. Thanks, Berrenta.
Sorry for not writing Image of the Month like I said I would; I noticed a small issue with permission and wanted to get that cleared up first. Since it's almost midnight here, I'll do it tomorrow when I get back from college.

There's not a lot of on-topic threads themed around Christmas. The only one I could find was Merry Christmas
, but I don't know if I should write an entry for it.
Okay, a bit of time on Paint 3D later, and this is what I have so far:
I may crop it a bit to trim off the empty space at the bottom and fix the red gift, but any other suggestions?
And yes, I may have turned Trope Reporter into a marketable plushie here.

Salt and Pepper has been sent back to TLP due to misuse as "Any relationship between a white and a nonwhite character" rather than "A relationship between a straight-laced white character, and a nonwhite character who is more streetwise, hotheaded, and outgoing. TRS thread here
.
Actually the new TLP'd rework of the trope is now White Bread and Black Brotha
Here's my writeup. Thoughts?
- We all know that Christmas is coming around the corner, but do you ever wish there was a thread to celebrate that wonderful festive holiday? Worry no more: we recommend to you Merry Christmas
! Just come to the thread near and/or on December 25th, and spread some cheer!

Working on Sandbox. The Amazing Race TV Tropes Edition.Yeah, I think. At least with some changes such as merging certain sections.
Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper Wall
I think I recall some talk of merging Forumwatch and Project Spotlight, but not much else in recent memory.
There were also decisions for an Image Spotlight section as well, though there are still concerns on how to format it, as well as the subcategories the section could have. (eg. Images From Obscure Tropes, New Work Page Images, etc.)

Working on Sandbox. The Amazing Race TV Tropes Edition. We also threw around the idea of a joke or game section a while back.
Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper Wall

As for the second part, if you don't feel confident being able to deliver the message well, I feel like that's another reason why going with the No Antagonist image may be a better idea.
