So over 10 years ago or so, we used to have a newsletter called Trope Report, which covers all of the changes that happened on the wiki weekly. I have been nostalgic for it recently so I thought of it and it seemed to be a fun way to inform tropers about the changes going on around the wiki.
The sandbox for the project can be found at Sandbox.Trope Report Dummy Edition and the sandbox for ideas/plans can be found on Sandbox.Trope Report Ideas. After a new issue is published, revert the Dummy Edition back to a template using the text on Sandbox.Trope Report Template.

Obvious answer is Earth Wind and Fire, but realistically, it's back to school in the States at least, so maybe Eden Academy or Dunder Mifflin?
Regarding the idea of having Raid: Shadow Legends as a joke sponsor, I was thinking the champion being advertised could be either Trope-tan or Trope Reporter.
I got a rock for Halloween.Apologies for being so last minute with my entries, I had ArtFight to do during the entire month.
Any thoughts on them?
- Remember when we shined the spotlight on Murder for the Modern Girl by Kendall Kulper in a couple of past issues? Well, it has a shiny new spin-off novel called A Starlets Secret To A Sensational Afterlife! Taking place in 1934 Hollywood, aspiring actress and younger sister of the female lead from the first book, Henrietta Newhouse takes the lead alongside a brooding co-star, Declan Collins, investigate a series of disappearances within L.A. As it turns out Declan is Nigh-Invulnerable and hired by a missing girl's family while Henrietta can see ghosts. Together, can they use their abilities to solve the disappearances? Well, like its processor, A Starlet's Secret to a Sensational Afterlife sounds very much like an engaging Historical Fiction novel and thus deserves to be in the spotlight as well with a sparkling work page!
- The Love of the Last Tycoon is the final novel by the same guy who brought you The Great Gatsby, F. Scott Fitzgerald. The story follows Hollywood studio manager Monroe Star who gets himself in a romance with his business partner's daughter, Cecilia and things end up going pretty wrong for him. Fitzgerald died before he could finish the novel, leading to it being posthumously published by his friend and fellow writer, Edmund Wilson. The page for the work itself was published somewhat recently in May 25th of this year and could use some more work such as additional tropes and a longer description.

CG for shortIs there still time to boost the Ensembles Cleanup thread
?
- Two's a company, and good things come in threes, and five in a band, and four in an ensemble. But sometimes, there are some characters or objects in ensembles that don't fit the mold. At the Ensembles Cleanup
thread, we make sure that they get a proper fitting be it in their appropriate temperament, element, or outlook in life.

ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔|I DO COMMISSIONS|ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔Do we have time? It's August and we probably shouldn't make more changes to this issue. I say hold off a bit and add it to September's.
Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallNot yet, but we don't want to make updates right before an issue goes live. We're just waiting for the grammar pass.
Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallNo and I am pretty sure I told you this already before. Twiddler already started their grammar pass. We are just waiting for them to say that they are done.

Macron's notesI've been doing the usual thing of temporarily putting new Changelog entries on my personal sandbox while waiting for the copyediting to be done. (Just letting everyone know that more recent changes have been accounted for, and just haven't been added since we prefer to avoid changing the page when copyediting is ongoing.)

I got a rock for Halloween.Done and published! Thanks to ~loserswithwifi for the "Trope Resort" suggestion
, which I encorporated into the bulletin.
- expanded on the Furry Comic / Furry Webcomics changelog entry
- corrected Fashion Model changelog entry to Fashion Designer (Fashion Model was covered in a previous issue)
I reverted the sandbox back to a template since this month's issue is live, and changed the month to September and added the first handful of Changelog entries.

I got a rock for Halloween.Okay, ~alnair20aug93, now's a good time to add the Ensembles cleanup writeup.
As for my contributions, right now I'm thinking of doing Long John Shout-Out (yarr) for Obscure Tropes as well as Harry McEntire for Pages Needing Help (anemic description and no tropes about characters).

I'm definitely plugging Password Game for New Works, big fan of neil.fun
Edited by FernandoLemon on Aug 5th 2023 at 10:15:39 AM
And already I have a write-up.
- September's birthday is Harry McEntire, an English actor/streamer with prominent roles in The Last Kingdom, Victoria, and Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Unfortunately that's all we got from the barebones description (Hear that, tropers? Harry wants something a bit meatier.). Tropes about his roles and some links to his other works are also appreciated.
...I can't resist putting that meme in there.
On the Raid: Shadow Legends sponsor idea we had for April Fools', can we do as a Bland-Name Product? (This issue is sponsored by Assault: Darkness Myths)
Edited by FernandoLemon on Aug 5th 2023 at 12:53:09 PM

Yeah, that does sound like an interesting idea.
...We should probably have a section on Trope Report Ideas for sponsors.
Edit: Done and added.
