So over 10 years ago or so, we used to have a newsletter called Trope Report, which covers all of the changes that happened on the wiki weekly. I have been nostalgic for it recently so I thought of it and it seemed to be a fun way to inform tropers about the changes going on around the wiki.
The sandbox for the project can be found at Sandbox.Trope Report Dummy Edition and the sandbox for ideas/plans can be found on Sandbox.Trope Report Ideas. After a new issue is published, revert the Dummy Edition back to a template using the text on Sandbox.Trope Report Template.

Will do. Should I add it to Trope Report Ideas?
Thanks. Added the Tropability standards entry minus the Sandbox link.
Will also add the Common Troping Mistakes thread to the Ideas sandbox.
Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining | Troper WallFor anyone who's seen the announcement in the moderation thread
(or alternatively, this reference to it), we've got some news to add, but I'm not sure how to word it. (We don't need to mention that I was awake this time.)

I got a rock for Halloween.Aw, so no speculation over who cleaned up the sacrifice circle this time due to you being present for the promotion?
Yeah, definitely something we have to talk about.
Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallYes, I already planned on mentioning the promotions in the description.

Macron's notesParable (as Scholastica) used to be the Chief Editor of the first trope report (Archive.Trope Report) so it's nice how these things work out.

Macron's notes
That, and we went back to having a mod as the herald of OTC. (Not relevant to Trope Report, but another case of things going full circle.)

I got a rock for Halloween.Would you mind fixing two things in previous issues?
- News 2022-08 needs to have the sponsor changed from Haruhi Suzumiya to Haruhi Suzumiya
- News 2023-06 needs the entry on Aurora disambiguated to Aurora
While it's true that we generally don't change previous issues, we've done this exact same thing when migrating wicks from TV Tropes to TV Tropes in News 2021-06 and News 2022-05. The rule is there to avoid rewriting/adding/deleting entries; stuff like grammar fixes and wick migration don't change the content of the issue and should therefore be fine.
There was no specific rule. We only stopped editing them because previous Trope entries were treated like archives.
I don't find it necessary to keep up them with as we still treat those entries as archives. We don't edit them now except to fix grammar mistakes or clarify things for recently released newsletters.

Macron's notes
What about the two edits I mentioned in News 2021-06 and News 2022-05? Or the changes from Needs Wiki Magic Love to Pages Needing Wiki Magic in the first few issues?
Well since they link to pages that were since moved maybe? I'd wait for more opinions.
Macron's notesI'd be for fixing redlinks for moved pages on archived pages since they don't actually alter text.
How to treat archived pages can be a Wiki Talk topic if there are uncertainties.
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupI think the Changelog entry I added for Be My Valentine will be the last one I add this month since we're nearing the end of the month, so I was wanting to hold off on adding more until the copyediting is done. In particular, Guttural Growler's decision won't be finalized until around the beginning of next month, especially since we might not hook the crowner today in case anyone has more name suggestions.
I got a rock for Halloween.Regarding the link discussion, which I didn't go through when I made my previous post it was made shortly after getting out of bed, I don't think it would be a big deal if we updated outdated links in issues of the current run of Trope Report. Other archives (including issues of the original run) ought to continue to remain completely off-limits because those are more clearly archival/historical in nature (in the case of the original run of Trope Report, its hub page being moved to Archive.Trope Report seems to support this).

I got a rock for Halloween.Sorry for the triple post, but the mod hat is on this time because mod discussion determined that it wouldn't hurt to make the suggested change to this month's issue since the bulletin for that issue was up until today (rather than for the first half of the month as usual), while we're leaving issues from before that alone.

I got a rock for Halloween.Well, that was before we solidly agreed on how to handle these pages. So, I don't think that counts because we just a made a decision today.
Macron's notesCan't think of anything to write for the description besides the three news mods that were promoted.
Macron's notesFor August's issue, I'll get a write-up for Series.Search 1972 for Works Needing a Page.
My parents really liked the show, to the point where we have a (privatized, sorry) text-based fangame of it.
I have a plan on how to style it, but I'll need to work on it during my off days.

Sounds fine to me. You might want to provide a summary of what's happened on the thread and with the Common Troping Mistakes sandbox if you're hoping to revive discussion.
