So over 10 years ago or so, we used to have a newsletter called Trope Report, which covers all of the changes that happened on the wiki weekly. I have been nostalgic for it recently so I thought of it and it seemed to be a fun way to inform tropers about the changes going on around the wiki.
The sandbox for the project can be found at Sandbox.Trope Report Dummy Edition and the sandbox for ideas/plans can be found on Sandbox.Trope Report Ideas. After a new issue is published, revert the Dummy Edition back to a template using the text on Sandbox.Trope Report Template.

We can always have someone else do it. I don't trust myself though since English isn't my first language and I can't count how many times I've noticed the various grammatical mistakes I've made after I'm done with something.
Checking in on this account after leaving the site, MAN that is a cringy forum post history. Daaamn. Never again.I agree that we can have someone else do it if Twiddler isn't available.
I got a rock for Halloween.I assume, I rather there not be pressure to push the newsletter out by April 1st. I don't think people would care if we are day or so late. That doesn't change the reader ability the enjoy the issue.
Macron's notesIs it ok if I change, in the description for the Changelog folder, "Trope Repair Shop" to "Troop Recruit Station"?

Working on Sandbox. The Amazing Race TV Tropes Edition.~Cardboard Bot Should the Pantheons be in Forumwatch, or is them being in Projects Spotlight part of the joke?
Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining | Troper WallIt's not a big deal if we can't get this out on April Fools' Day, and I apologize if I sounded like I was trying to rush the process. The idea of starting the copyediting earlier to get the issue out on April 1 came up around when we started working on this issue, and I was implicitly referencing that idea.
As for an unrelated (i.e., a tangent and not something directly related to Trope Report) case of delaying things past April 1, I previously discussed having a bulletin for A Date with Rosie Palms's wick cleanup in April with the other mods (and I think I mentioned this in a TRS thread, though I forget which one) if it wasn't finished by then (since it was converted into an index for being Chairs and we prefer to save TRS bulletins for Chairs-y concepts in the event that one is posted), and since it isn't, I'll end up posting one... except I feel like I should wait until at least April 2, because I don't think people will take the bulletin seriously if it's posted on April 1, if only because of the page the bulletin will be about.

I got a rock for Halloween.Apologies for being super late, but um here are my (admittedly rushed) entries. One for Forumwatch and one for the Works Needing Pages
- So, you got some super weird questions for your story but you don't wanna Google it because you don't want your FBI agent to judge your browser history? Well, come on over to the Random Questions Thread
! The folks there are willing to try answering any question you have regardless of how absurd it is and give you tips and stuff for your trusty story to work out kinks. Go on, ask them!
- Hmm, we got ourselves a Roaring 20's story that doesn't have a page on this wiki yet. It's called Murder for the Modern Girl and it's about some mind-reading Flapper gal who moonlights as a vigilante who poisons douchebag men who treat women as lesser. There's also a shape-shifting dude who works at a morgue and had caught onto her murders and uh oh, the gal's falling in love with him. Then they gotta deal with a conspiracy deep within the workings of Chicago. Will they bring justice? This novel is pretty good and is written by none other than… Wait, it's not a F. Scott Fitzgerald novel? WHAT DO YOU MEAN!? IT'S A NOVEL THAT TAKES PLACE IN THE 1920'S! (Disclaimer: the actual author is Kendall Kulper and the novel was published in 2022)
I like 'em.
If you want, you can take this chance to give yourself a joke bio.

Berserk Button: misusing Berserk Button
Commander N reporting!
Since it is now April Fools Day, I figured a good way to celebrate would be by adding Joke Ending, a trope I just launched, to the Trope Spotlight under new works? Do I have your permission, SIRS!
One of these days, all of you will accept me as your supreme overlord.
Berserk Button: misusing Berserk Button
How about this for a writeup:
- All right, I managed to unlock a super-secret ending! This wasn’t even listed in the walkthrough for some reason… wait, did the main character just turn out to be a monkey in a human suit? And now everything is exploding? And now the heroes are being abducted by aliens, and they’re breaking out into a dance number, and they’re even Breaking the Fourth Wall? Looks like this must be the Joke Ending.
Is this okay for something I whipped up in five minutes?

One of these days, all of you will accept me as your supreme overlord.Looks fine to me, though we usually also mention when the trope launched (though for this issue I guess it doesn't matter).
If you really wanted to be meta, you could always put it in Project Spotlight which is the last folder of the entire newsletter, thus ending the newsletter with a literal Joke Ending.
