So over 10 years ago or so, we used to have a newsletter called Trope Report, which covers all of the changes that happened on the wiki weekly. I have been nostalgic for it recently so I thought of it and it seemed to be a fun way to inform tropers about the changes going on around the wiki.
The sandbox for the project can be found at Sandbox.Trope Report Dummy Edition and the sandbox for ideas/plans can be found on Sandbox.Trope Report Ideas. After a new issue is published, revert the Dummy Edition back to a template using the text on Sandbox.Trope Report Template.

Pinging ~Twiddler just in case (I hope I got it right this time).
SING TO ME, LEND ME THE SONG OF BLASPHEMY~alnair20aug93, not sure what this sentence is saying: "Your rocket-shaped boat conveniently built on the 23rd of March, you say it would be handy someday."
Changelog says "Rant Inducing Slight has been merged into Rage Breaking Point due to misuse", but it's actually been turned into a disambig. Not sure how to rewrite it right now.
to be finished later, time to hit the hay
I temporarily removed Satoshi and jones' signatures, since they didn't contribute this month. I'll add them back when I empty the sandbox.
I also added a joke credit to Fast Eddie, what do you think Jay?
It was a wordplay on boats and the trope launch. I outghta reword that.

Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallWhat if instead of crediting to Fast Eddie, we make it more of a joke by crediting it to Slow Freddy, his evil twin or something? Though I like the current idea too as a parody of old site beliefs.
I also might add more to new work pages later, if I have time.

I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe. For May's issue, is there any way we can plug The Stanley Parable, since the remake's releasing soon?
I'd love to do that if there's a way. The company is nameless, so it can't be the sponsor...
Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallPlus, I think that the Bloom & Doom Seed Corporation was recommended to be the May issue's sponsor.
SING TO ME, LEND ME THE SONG OF BLASPHEMYHi. Last-minute request, but given that there's Autism Awareness Month on 2nd April, I have a work that we can potentially list on the Work Spotlight Section sheet, particularly under the Works That Need a Page section. Here is is...
- The "A" Word is a British drama television show that is hosted on the BBC and is an adaptation of the Israeli show, Yellow Peppers. The show is about a family of four known as the Hughes, consisting of mother Alison, father Paul, daughter Rebecca on Alison's side, and son Joe. The series revolves around Joe, who is diagnosed with Autism after his parents become concerned with his behavioral patterns in primary school, and they, alongside their other relatives and friends, try to cope with how to handle their son and his difficulties in getting along and socializing with others. Alongside Joe's autism, the series also explores other social issues, such as Rebecca feeling ignored by her parents, Alison's brother Eddie who is dealing with relationship problems, and her father and Joe's grandfather, Maurice (played by Christopher Eccleston) who is tactless and often deals with issues insensitively regardless of being well-intentioned.
Don't know anything about that particular show, but "autism awareness" is criticized lately
...
wow that is a long-ass page, uh, this section
might be the most immediately relevant one.
We could definitely talk about Autism Acceptance Month in the next issue. I know this site has a big autistic demographic (myself included).
EDIT: I'm an idiot, this is the April issue.
We could fit it in here somewhere, if we wanna.

Myself as well. Somehow I was unaware of the idea of "Autism Acceptance Day" but I do love the idea.
Last-minute notice, I know, but the bit in Project Spotlight about the wick cleaning of Those Two Bad Guys should be removed because that process just finished.

Cave Johnson, we're done here.
It got brought back but I'm removing anyway because it's almost done.
Hey, so I haven't talked here in a while. I'll just say that for the time being, I'm stepping away from Troper Report. This is part of my whole thing of stepping back from the wiki gradually as I finish up undergrad and go to graduate school. Frankly, this semester has a heavy workload, and I sadly can't really balance working on the newsletter, as much as it pains me. Maybe over the summer, I might contribute to a few more, but for now, I can't maintain it with my schedule.
Thanks for allowing me to contribute when I could. Working with you all meant a lot to me.

Okay, added the ITT: Obscure References thread. There's still room for the 2020s thread; the more entries the better.
Besides that, we wait for Twiddler to do his magic.
