Unfortunately for commiseration...nothing, to my knowledge. I browsed forums and articles but I don't think I actually posted or edited anything I lost. However, I'm here to sympathize with anyone who lost a lot, since I've gone through that too many times accidentally deleting my independent writing and only noticing its absence after the recovery period was up. It sucks having to redo something from memory that you're sure you can't do as well as the first time, and there are things I still haven't redone because of this frustration.

I was unusually active during the lost day, so it depresses me very much that all those edits were lost. I spent two hours yesterday typing in a .txt file everything I remembered and then some, but... I don't know. It just doesn't feel right to do it all again. The only consolation is that they were just edits, and not entire pages or anything, but it's probably going to keep bugging me for a long time, and I really would rather it never happened at all.
So if you all want to commiserate about what you lost in the outage yesterday, I'm all ears.
