[up][up]I agree with you but that option lost in the crowner vote. So not much we can do now.

[up]Right now, no. If we can at least keep the idea that there was no change needed alive it can be changed back next year or something though.

[up][up]Life, as far as we know it, does not happen in the vacuum of space, and what little activity does go on out there is not too hard to keep track of, because getting there requires a whole lot of fuel burnt by flames that can be seen from miles away that leaves a whole lot of smoke. Just being in space where people, monkeys plants or otherwise is potentially trope worthy. The story should have a good reason for it to happen, unless Like Reality, Unless Noted was clearly disproved out prior. Further more, even anaerobic creatures tend die in space, so unless it's a tartigrade, which still needs a good reason to be out there, breathing, surviving or otherwise being in a vacuum full of radioactivity without what we recognize as proper protection is pretty trope worthy.

Playing with a Trope is a blue link for a reason. That includes hand waves.

  • All the enemy creatures of Kirby, including those that instantly drown when submerged in water, can survive in the vacuum of space just fine. Kirby can even inhale objects as he typically does, literally breathing in space. Played Straight
  • Superman can sometimes breathe in space, sometimes he holds his breath. Sometimes he needs a space suit. His oxygen reliance tends to depend on how attached to the silver version the current writer is. Depending on the Writer.
  • In the Legion Of Superheroes, most societies have spacesuits so advanced they do not need helmets or air tanks, giving the appearance that everyone is out in space in nothing but latex. Subverted Trope
  • The Transformers are Mechanical Lifeforms that do no breathe in the manner of carbon based lifeforms. They can manipulate electromagnetic activity and are naturally shielded from most such phenomenon on a molecular level. Justified Trope.
  • In Dragon Ball breathing in space is done without comment early on but is later said to be something on certain characters can do. From there the series goes back and forth on exactly who can, with the heroes tending to not have the ability when it gives the enemy a dramatic advantage. Zig-Zagged Trope.

etc, etc.

That's why he wants you to have the money. Not so you can buy 14 Cadillacs but so you can help build up the wastes

Bump. We should move on to cleanup now. There are 1160 wicks to process, in addition to the description and on-page examples.

I'm back!
