Headscratchers Cleanup

It is, yeah.

Cool Cat Saves the Kids has a lot of meta headscratchers about the film's creator, rather than the movie itself. Even the movie-related headscratchers are very snarky.

WarJay, I've created an Infamous And Controversial Works sandbox for a possible cleanup thread of work pages attracting Complaining About Shows You Don't Like. It's primarily for works that have lots of complaining on their work pages and subpages, NOT controversial works in general.

We were discussing these issues on the complaining cleanup thread, and I thought you might want to join.

What about those people who say things like "It's just a show"? I personally find this annoying.

Me too. It's also contrary to the whole purpose of Headscratchers. I think Headscratchers.Home Page should say not to shut down people's questions like this.

Do they mean Indian as in "from India" or "Amerindian"? Either way, I'm sure it's not a valid example.

She's Thai-American. A lot of ethnically Thai people are pretty dark-skinned.

I have my own question: why are people like these so insensitive about skin colors?

The last time I checked ATT, someone said the person comes across as very young, so hopefully this is a case of ignorance more than malice.

As I said on ATT, we should not harshly rebuke someone for ignorance of youth. I assume youth because this is a show that airs on PBS Kids and it's possible a user in the target demographic with a narrow worldview came on here with a genuine question. We view so often view things with a cynical lens and it's not always justified.

When this was first posted here we didn't know anything about the poster; I'd assumed it was an older post that was fueled by racist intent, which is why I reacted how I did.

They may also be from an area where there aren't a lot of dark-skinned Asians or Alaska Natives.

Taking a look at it, Vegan Artbook is filled to the brim with complaining about the author's extreme veganism. I wouldn't mind axing it given how complainy it is.

Edit: I've cutlisted it, but I hasn't been dealt with yet despite other sweeps through the cutlist.

It was declined. It needs further proof on why it's filled with complaining.

It doesn't need proof that it's filled with complaining, it needs proof that it's nothing but complaining. And that doesn't seem to be the case.

I'll post this again because this page really needs help.
