Kate (Elena Okami)
Yawning, you look around for a place to rest. Spotting the apartment buildings nearby, you head into one of them, find a bed, and plop down to sleep. It isn't long before you, too, are dreaming...
You're back at home, in your little hovel beneath the bridge. You're playing around with your latest steal - a golden pendant you swiped off the neck of some obnoxious rich lady. That woman was notoriously rich and had a tendency to get people fired for no reason - she certainly didn't need or deserve it. And my, is it beautiful.
You're interrupted from your thoughts as someone steps into your hovel, and plops down beside you.
"What's up, Adanne?" Kaneez says.
You narrow your eyes at her. "What did I tell you about calling me that?"
Kaneez stops to think. "Hmmm... It's funny, I can't remember!"
You give her a playful shove, which she returns with a laugh and a light punch.
"Hey, listen, though," she says, suddenly going a little serious. "I found something today, I think you might want this."
She reaches into her pocket, and pulls something out - a long, bright red ribbon.
Your eyes widen, as you take it from her hands. "Where did you find this?"
"From the ashes of your old house," she says. "I went by there today, to see if there was anything that could be salvaged. I remembered how much you liked that ribbon."
You stare at the ribbon in your hand, idly passing it in between your fingers. "I'm surprised it survived."
Kaneez nods, as the both of you look at it. There's a short moment of silence between you both, where you briefly consider putting it back on. Except...
"Are you sure you don't wanna talk about it?" Kaneez wonders.
You nod, pocketing the ribbon. "Of course I don't. Why would I wanna talk about it?" You lean back against the wall, your hands behind your head.
"It's just that..." Kaneez pauses for a second, her gaze turning to the floor. "It's just that... If I'd had a life like yours, I wouldn't give it up for anything."
Valse (Myskywarm)
You partake in the goat. The meat is pretty dark, but it's no match for your vampire fangs. Dan didn't exactly bother to clean the blood off of it, so you get a nice taste of it as well. It's not bad.
Using your vampire speed, you zoom off into the forest, quickly making it back to your cave. The bats are all gone, but you're sure they'll be back soon enough. For now, you attach your feet to the wall with your vampire magic, and hang upside down from there, eventually drifting off to sleep.
You wake up at your desk, back in school. You never much were one to pay attention in class - you were brilliant enough on your own to ace all the tests even without studying. In fact, you never had to try hard for much of anything, you were just naturally good at it.
All that changed when she appeared. The new girl in class, she didn't stand out much, at first. She sat in the back, she never answered questions, and she always sat by herself at lunch.
You were intrigued by her. Never have you heard of someone who was so comfortable going completely unnoticed. You can't understand it. You have to know what she's all about.
You start off small. Leaving your usual circle of friends, you take a seat next to her at lunch. She gives you an aside glance, but says nothing, going back to eating her food and scrolling through her phone.
This only intrigues you more. Not a single change in her demeanor - still completely nonchalant and aloof. Should you say something? What would you even say? For the first time in your life, you aren't sure.
You sit beside her and eat your food in silence.
Linhan (JTTW Lover)
"We should probably stay in here for the night," Envy advises you, as he watches the campfire start to disperse. "That potion's gonna take a while anyways."
You agree, though you'd rather not stay in this particular room. You head into an adjacent one with an intact window, before taking out your potions kit. You put all the ingredients together, plopping the bezoar in last, then start writing out the runes. There's a lot of them, as an Elixir is a potent mixture, and by the time you're done, you can feel your eyelids starting to close on their own. But no, you can't. You need to stay up, just a few more minutes...
Herbs. Potions. Magic. Spells. Surely, all these components together would be enough to make a young girl happy. Right?
Wrong.
All you feel is envy. Rage, jealousy, hatred, and spite.
You scurry to gather the last few ingredients for the wing potion. Owlet's feathers, bat's tooth, and lastly, a Pearl of Light. You went through a lot of trouble to get that last one, and it's of decently good quality. You're sure it'll do well.
Yanfei, the neighbor's kid, was gracious enough to volunteer himself for your experiment. He is, all in all, the perfect test subject. Young, strong, and previously untainted by magic. Nothing that could cause any unwanted side effects.
Yanfei gulps down the potion, and in an instant, a pair of bright blue feathered wings sprout from his back. The judges are wowed, nodding and clapping and scribbling furiously in their notebooks.
It turned out better than you expected. You smile and exchange a victory handshake with your friend, sure you've got this in the bag. Until...
"Yuxue."
The name rings out like a pox against your ears. What on earth is that no-good lying thief son of a turtle doing here?
Yuxue takes a swig from his own potion, already finished, and instantly a pair of beautiful, magnificent butterfly wings sprout from his back, shimmering with the light of the sun.
The judges go wild. Hooting and hollering and shouting his praise. You can't believe this. What's worse - before your eyes, Yanfei's wings are starting to shrink and wither away, dissolving into dust and blowing away in the wind.
Five minutes. Only five minutes, and the magic is already gone.
You heard later that Yuxue's wings lasted for ten minutes longer, and disappeared in a gust of flower petals. But you didn't stick around to see it.
Tiga (Baisteach)
You follow the robot into a weapons shop, as the both of you pick out weapons. He marvels over a hammer-axe, supposedly belonging to the gods, while you pick out one that calls to you, bringing a name at the forefront of your mind.
Your weapons decided, the robot leads you to a repair shop, brimming with various robot parts. He picks up the pieces and gets to work, quickly and securely stitching himself back together. You're no mechanic, so you're content to just sit there and watch.
The two of you strike up some conversation, for a little while, but soon you find yourself nodding off every few minutes. The robot, Dixon, assures you that he'll be fine on his own, and you can rest if you need to. Not one to deny an opportunity to sleep, you curl up on the floor and drift away...
You dream of him again, of Ieho. You dream of that night, only this time, it's different. This time it ends how you wish it had ended.
Dixon (Tre)
Do androids dream of electric sheep? Well, you're not an android, so you suppose you wouldn't know.
The man who was dead earlier has now fallen into a deep sleep by the time you're finished with repairs. You suppose it is pretty late, and you should rest a bit before you have to get damaged again for the next task. So, you settle in against the wall and close your eyes.
You close your eyes, and you dream.
"Lightning," Dixon said, staring at the neon-soaked skyline of the city below. The two of them were perched on a cliff face about a mile out from Downtown, their bike parked behind a small bench.
"Really? That's kinda neat. I think I would just want to control fire, because I'm predictable," Amelia replied, spray painting a double-sided arrow along the edge of one of the robot's forearms. "But yours is neat. Maybe I'll just copy that."
Her hair was a shocking blue, and she wore a matching cobalt flannel over a red AC/DC T-shirt. She'd only ever heard Back in Black - all the other albums that her dad had on vinyl burned in the fire - but that was enough.
"We should, like, retire somewhere. Earth fuckin' sucks," she said. "I heard Europa's nice this time of year."
"Right. And what do we do when the Fold find us there?"
"If the Fold find us there, Dixon," Amelia goes.
"When."
"So cynical."
"Built this way," he says. "Blame your dad."
"Okay, when they find us there, we improvise," she says, wrapping up the paint job and placing Dixon's hand on the seat. "Try not to smear that. Anyway. I've never been one to try to figure things out long in advance. Why bother starting now?"
She lit the last cigarette in her pack and threw the box off of the cliff face. Dixon let the air hiss out of his arms' springs, and Amelia looked at him.
"I swear, you do that at the same time on purpose."
"Maybe."
She rolled her eyes, and leaned back as she let out a big puff. "I don't know what I ever did to earn a friend like you, 539."

she magnificent my bastard till i complete on her monsterDan (johannes)
You suddenly realize the rat has been dragging around a pizza box this whole time. You wonder if it's still edible. You propose to what remains of the group that you cook and eat it. In response, the Shrek idol takes the pizza and throws it directly into the fire. Well, so much for that.
The lot of you mess around for a while before finally heading off to bed like the others. There's ample apartments nearby, so you have no trouble finding a room and plopping down to sleep...
"You're fools if you think you've won."
In your dream, you are fighting a ferocious gremlin with a giant fork. The battle is set against a trippy, psychedelic background, with images of all times past floating through the area.
"You haven't seen the last of J. Bonkhaus Wolfspiders..."
Well, you're not having any of this shit. You take the mirror shard in your hand and stab him ten times with it.
"Aw, shit."
J. Bonkhaus Wolfspiders disappears in a flash of light. Incidentally, a screen passes by your vision, which shows the gremlin being eaten by a T-Rex. All's well that ends well.
You follow your friends back home, all of them exhausted after a grueling adventure. You celebrate the new year together, finally beneath the sky of your home sweet home.
The glass shard intrigues you though. The next day, you are accosted by a group of strange people who claim you ruined their way of life by pissing on a statue in their backyard. That does sound like something you'd do, but you really feel like they're overblowing it, so you shrug them off and take the shard to a blacksmith.
The blacksmith tells you he can forge you a weapon from it, but first you must go on a quest to collect twenty souls. You're not sure what that has to do with the weapon, but you accept it.
It is a long, grueling, Herculean quest. For seven days and seven nights you journey across the land, before at long last, you collect the final soul, and you return home to deliver them to the blacksmith.
The next day, the smith gives you the weapon - A beautiful glass dagger with a steel handle. As you hold it up to the sun, you can see the timestream glimmering across the surface.
It'll make a perfect wedding gift for one of your dearest friends.
Melody (Tabby Girl 4)
You toss the pizza into the fire, where it burns to a crisp. Nice. The lot of you mess around for another while longer before heading to bed. You manage to find an empty room and lay down to sleep...
You've just finished performing a song, the last one of the night. Your fans are roaring, shouting and screaming your praise. It's like music to your ears. Even better than anything you could sing.
You give a short, heartfelt speech to your fans, thanking them for all the support they've given you. They've always been there for you, you tell them. They've been with you from the start and support you through all the highs and lows. You wouldn't be where you are without them.
"Goodnight, Seoul!" you finish off. "I love you all, goodnight!"
You retreat backstage, where you can finally rest your weary feet. A butler hands you a drink, which you take and sip from avidly. Goddamn, you were thirsty.
As you take a seat, you are accosted by a pair of young girls. Representatives from the fan club, it seems. You smile bright, welcoming them backstage. You talk with them for a while, making requests for appearances or performances, which you happily accept. You give them each an autograph, and they run off giggling. You smile and wave as they leave.
You rest for a while, before it's time to head home. You change and gather your things, taking your leave of the place. Outside, there are still hordes of fans waiting for you, begging for autographs. You happily oblige, stopping to talk to as many as you can and singing their pamphlets and their birthday cards and their faces.
You eventually climb into your limo, where the driver takes you off to your next destination. While you're at it, you open up twitter, scrolling through your mentions. Tons of fancams fill your feed, of young girls from Korea and America alike dancing to your songs. You try to like and comment on every one you see. "You look so good!" you tell them.
The limo pulls into a hidden parking lot at a secret location. You thank your driver for the ride and head out, heading into an ominous building
A man greets you at the entrance.
"You are just in time, my lady," he says. "I take it your fans weren't too bothersome?"
"As if," you reply. "I fuckin' hate the little shits. Come on, let's get this started."
The man leads you onto another stage - a massive auditorium, where legions of your secret followers await you.
"Shrek is love," you call out to them. "Shrek is life!"
The auditorium fills with cheers.
Frank (Playing_with_boy)
You are about to walk back to the group, when you realize that they are all leaving. So, you head instead head back to your tower, where you find a bedroom and sleep in it.
All your life, you've had everything you've ever wanted. Your mother was the owner of a business, Radpool, or something like that, and your father was a lawyer at a very prestigious firm. As such, there was no shortage of money, and as such no shortage of food or drink or decadence.
Unlike the others who had similar upbringings though, you didn't have any complications from this. Your parents were fine, or as fine as they can be with such busy schedules anyways. You're not a prince with a reputation to uphold, nor are you a princess with responsibilities to deal with. You were not diagnosed with kleptomania, and you didn't have a chance encounter with the supernatural.
Well, not exactly. You and your family are from a fairly unique race of humans, born predisposed to a certain brand of wizardry. You didn't care much for it, though. That silly magic was for the commoners - you already have everything you've ever wanted.
This was your whole life, up until that fateful day...
The day you got into politics.
Dave (Bobthedeadguy)
You find a place to lay down and curl up. You're having a bit of trouble sleeping, but you know these tasks are probably not nocturnal, so you do your best, eventually drifting off into a fitful sleep.
"Lemme make you an offer you can't refuse."
You're not sure why you followed this shady weasel into this dark alley. By all means, you probably shouldn't have. But you couldn't help yourself. This is the first person who's talked to you in ages, and you're so desperate to make friends.
"S-sure," you reply. "I-I'll hear it out."
The weasel chuckles menacingly. "I knew you would. Now, lemme explain. My buddies and I are part of a uh, how do you say... Organization."
By the sound of it, you suspect he meant to say something other than organization.
"We do a bit of underground work, you see," he continues explaining. "Real top-secret like. Can't tell anyone. But we uhh, how do you say... We've been watching you for a while, and you got potential, kid. What do you say? It'll be like an exclusive club."
Wow. You've never been part of an exclusive club. Wait, hold on, what the hell are you saying. This is totally shady, probably even illegal. You can't go through with it.
"S-sure," you say. "I'll j-join you guys."
The weasel smirks menacingly and extends a hand. You take it, and he shakes your hand roughly. There's no backing out now.
Yao (Tales of Under)
As you finish your workout, you realize that everyone has already left. Whoops. Oh well, you head into one of the nearby apartments and plop down to sleep.
Your dream opens up on a temple. You recognize it, of course - it's the temple you grew up in. It's a cold, snowy night, and there's some sort of bundle of blankets on the temple steps. You watch as someone steps out of the temple - a very short monk with a fu manchu and very large ears. You recognize him as your master, though he looks a lot younger than you remember.
He bends down and picks up the bundle, which lets out a cry. That's when you realize it. Wrapped up in the blankets is you, as a baby. You remember him telling you this story, of how he found you, abandoned on the temple stairs.
You continue to watch your life as an outside observer, random scenes of your master raising you from birth. Eventually, you come across a scene where the monks are practicing the martial arts. You remember this story too. How with a single kick you knocked the training dummy across the room and into the far wall.
That was when your master knew you were destined for greatness. He began to train you in the art of kung fu, and filled your head with dreams of grandeur.
"I promise you, Yao Long," he told you. "You will become the Dragon Warrior."

she magnificent my bastard till i complete on her monsterPhew, finally done! First off, I'd like to thank everyone, since all of you helped me write these in some way, whether by answering my random questions about little details or by sharing with me your secret backstories and motivations for me to work with. Though I did most of the writing, we all did this together ❤️
I'd like to specifically thank Elena Okami, JTTW Lover, and johannes4123, as they all provided me with specific scenarios for me to write about, and especially to unfortunatezorua, whose scenario was so detailed I hardly had to do any work myself!
And finally a super special thank you to Custard and Tre, who wrote up their own scenarios themselves. You all did a really great job!
Now without further ado, let's move on with the game.
Day Two.
You awaken back in the city, your memories of the past day returning to you at last. You sit up in your bed, your couch, your segment of the floor, or your segment of the ceiling, and groggily blink the sleep and nostalgia from your eyes. As you come back to your senses, you notice an envelope lying nearby, addressed to you.
What do you do?

Current avatar: ConnieThe sound of Dixon’s internals whirring back to full power after exiting sleep was akin to the exhale of a desktop computer turning on, though he intentionally kept his own startup chime muted. His travel companion is still knocked out in a corner, having drifted off on a couch inside the garage.
He notices a pair of envelopes marked “DXN-539” and “Ne'igalomeatiga” on the workbench scattered about with his original parts, and picks the one marked for him up, wondering why the calligraphic rendering of his model number was so elaborate.

One day you're here, baby / And then you're gone.....I lie there in silence for a moment, eyes raking lazily over sunlight now bouncing off the tangled sheets. Morning already...? That, and the pounding in my head's starting to make the safety of unconsciousness feel a little too inviting.

As you wake up, you notice another bat is holding something in its claw - this time, an envelope addressed to you. You relieve the bat of its duty and open the envelope, which reads:
Meet at the waterfront for further instructions.
"I didn't get a chance to tell you, my liege," Pride says from your shoulder. "You did so excellently against the Lamb of God yesterday! Surely this will be another great chance to show off your skills."
You look out a the cave entrance, where the sun is shining through. Looks like you're gonna need the parasol.
Dixon (Tre)
Tiga is just starting to wake up when you read the contents of your envelope:
Meet at the Coliseum for further instructions.
"Sounds like it's gonna be another fight!" Wrath exclaims excitedly. "Let's go!"
Dan (johannes4123)
You make a comment about the mail industry's determined employees as you open the envelope:
Meet at the waterfront for further instructions.
Well, lucky for you, that looks to be right outside your window. Pride is still snoozing on the couch.
Cordelia (Custard and Pie)
You wonder who the hell could bring you mail, especially here, as you open the envelope:

You've earned the achievement: Better Late Than Never
You reach over and read the envelope:
Meet at the auditorium on campus for further instruction.

You, despite not posting, also find and open the envelope, just for the sake of moving forward:
Meet at the Coliseum for further instructions.

Pontius (Taco Badger)
"Very well, sire, if you're certain," Niles says. He steps briefly into the bathroom to disrobe, before climbing under the covers. You stay there for a while before you finally hear him snoring softly.
The big window won't open up, but you find a smaller one in an adjacent room that does. You flitter outside, and as the campfire gathering starts to disperse, you spend some time practicing using your wings and flying around. If you keep this up, you might even get a +1 to flying so you won't crash nearly as often.
In any case, pretty soon you tire yourself out, and head back in through the window. When you return, you discover that Niles has set up a little pillow and blanket for you on the couch. Silently thanking him for his thoughtfulness, you settle in and fall into a deep sleep.
You awaken in your bed back home. You feel awfully lightheaded. You take a groggy look around. Oh, great. It happened again, didn't it?
Your mother the Queen, and your father the King, are sitting at your bedside. Standing to the side is the royal Doctor. Sitting in a corner is your younger brother, Prince Milton, idly playing on one of those new-fangled "video games".
You sigh. You already know what they are going to say, before they even open their mouths. You cannot keep doing this, Pontius. You have a reputation to uphold. You are the Crown Prince, heir to the throne. What would the people think if they saw you like this? If this keeps up, they may just have to give Milton the crown. Blah blah blah blah.
You can't help it. Ever since you were young it was the case. Even just the tiniest cut bleeds like a waterfall, and it doesn't stop. Any substantial injury and you faint within the minute. And with no magic of your own, you can't even heal it. It feels like your life and your reputation are always at risk.
They don't even sympathize anymore. After the fifth, the tenth, the twentieth time, you suppose they have given up. All they do is reprimand. Think of your reputation, Pontius. You are disgracing the Royal Family, Pontius. It can't go on like this, Pontius.
You're sick of it. You don't know how much longer you can take it.
Eventually, they seem to grow tired and leave. You heave a sigh of relief. You look up at your little brother, still playing his game silently in the corner. How easy he has it. He has his own magic, he wasn't born with a debilitating blood disease. He would make the perfect crown prince.
"You know," Milton finally speaks up. There is no one else in the room anymore, so it must be directed at you.
"I know how you can get your own magic."
Ivory (Eevee Girl Chey)
You partake in some of the goat. The meat is very dark, and a little tough, but it tastes pretty good. Soon enough though, you excuse yourself, and head into one of the apartments to sleep. Envy slithers down to the floor as you find yourself an empty bed and flop down, falling asleep almost instantly.
"Ivory."
Her voice is as soft and as sweet as honey. You recognize it as your mother's. Your eyes well with tears at the thought of her. You wonder where she is now.
You look around. You're in your bedroom - by the looks of it, probably your late childhood or early teens. You think this is around the time you were first granted your powers.
"You have a responsibility, Ivory. To the church, and to the people. No matter what you do, you must act with charity and love to all of those around you. You must never bring harm to others, and use your gifts to help others. Do you understand?"
You nod your head. Of course, by your age you understood sympathy and compassion pretty well already. As you would go on, though, this would be your lifeblood.
The dream changes. You're in the woods - a little younger now, you think. You know this place fairly well - it's not far from home, and you never venture too far in. Something told you to come out here tonight - something seems to be calling out to you.
You find it. Disguised by the underbrush, you spot a bunny rabbit, its poor little foot caught in a trap. The little creature is shaking and trembling, struggling to get up, but you can see that each little movement fills it with pain, judging by the way it collapses every few seconds.
You run up to it quickly, quietly shushing it as you move your hands closer. Somehow, it seems to understand your intention, and calms down as you get near it. With a gentle hand you hold the bunny down, then with the other you undo the clasp and lift the trap, freeing its little foot. Then with both hands, you pick the bunny up and bring him to your chest.
That's when you notice something strange. Golden sparks fly off your fingers, and suddenly the bunny's foot is wreathed in golden flames. You gasp at first, but surprisingly, the bunny isn't panicking. You watch as the bunny's foot mends itself before your eyes, the bones shifting back into place, muscle and sinew coming together once more.
That was when you first knew you were blessed.
Aisling (Aveyond)
Your roll: 1
You leave the establishment and try to find yourself someone fuckable, but unfortunately, all you succeed in doing is getting yourself lost within the city. Accepting defeat, you head into a nearby office building and find a random couch to fall asleep on.
The princess life never really was for you. All the standards you had to uphold and the rituals you had to conduct, it was all too much pressure. That's why, even before you started sleeping around, you would blow off steam by running away and heading into the city in disguise.
The earthlings would never believe you, but cities in the Feywilds are the most beautiful in the universe. Men can destroy the earth to create their skyscrapers, and monsters can settle for living in the dirt, but fairies. Oh, the miracles they can build out of nature itself. Every house, every storefront, is built into the woods, and the roads are created only by the hoof and paw of passing animals. Life breathes out of everything, and the city brims with magic in its purest form. Colorful lights line every street, and everything is bathed in the golden light of the setting sun.
It was on one such night that you were out on the town when you met him. Oh, how he swept you off your feet. Serenaded you with dulcet words and joyful laughter. You were smitten.
Though you only talked for a short while, he asked if he could see you again tomorrow. Of course you said yes. You went to bed that night with your head in the clouds, a joy in your heart, and butterflies in your stomach. You couldn't wait to see him again.
Cordelia (Custard and Pie)
It's only a short time before you Elixir has finished brewing. You pour it into a vial and cork it shut, beaming at it proudly. You put in a lot of work for this, and it's paid off.
You've acquired a Half-Elixir! When drunk, it will restore your health by 25 points and briefly increase your magic power. It might have some side effects though...
You've earned the achievement: Full Elixir Consequences
As it seems the others are all heading off, you get up to leave as well. You head into one of the nearby apartment buildings, and soon manage to find an empty room. You set your potions set on the bedside table and plop down to bed, drifting off into a deep sleep....
I've disappointed my governess, haven't I?
It didn't matter that I was learning trigonometry while my siblings were still on algebra because my sister Carrie was on pre-calculus. It didn't matter that I could understand Shakespeare perfectly while Christopher could read Diderot's Encyclopedié in its original French. No matter how hard I tried, one of my siblings would always excel at any given task imaginable. When I confided in Miss Elton, my governess, all I got were sweet nothings paired with an insipid smile.
"You're a bright girl, Cordelia," Miss Elton would say.
"Maybe your talents lie elsewhere, Cordelia," she would say
Well fuck you too, Miss Elton. How do you like me now that I'm dead, you liar?
Reiss (unfortunatezorua)
You wonder where it all went wrong. You carry this thought with you even after everyone begins to leave, and you find yourself walking, almost like the Undead themselves, into an apartment building and finding a random bed to lay down in. You carry this thought with you even as you drift off to sleep.
Where did it all go wrong?
The first thing you hear is the scream.
That's when you know it all went wrong. You didn't prepare for this. Nothing could have prepared you for this. This was supposed to be a normal job. In and out, no complications. But this woman... She complicates everything.
You wonder if you should leave. Your job here is done, there's no reason for you to stay. And yet...
You can't help but stand and watch as she throws herself over his lifeless body, sobbing into his bleeding chest. Why isn't she calling for help? Surely that's what any logical person would do, right? And yet, she's just... Lying there. Sobbing.
You really think you should leave. She probably can't see you from all the way out here, but still. This isn't your business anymore. You should go. And yet... Something keeps you planted firmly in place.
She's no longer sobbing. You think she's stopped moving, only she gets up not a second later. You can't see very well from here, but... You think she's taking something off the corpse. It looks like a box of some sort. She's looking inside...
And then, without warning, she turns and looks directly at you. You stumble backwards, tripping over yourself in your panic. There's no way. There's no way she can see you from there, there's no way. It's not possible.
She sets down the box calmly. Gets up and dusts herself off. Oh no. What is she doing? She's walking, towards the balcony.
Towards the balcony. Oh no. You don't think... Oh no. She's climbing up on the railing. No no no no no no. This can't be, you have to stop this. You reach out a hand to her but you know it's futile, you know you couldn't possibly reach through the glass and the empty space between you that feels like it stretches on forever.
She closes her eyes as her white dress flows behind her in the wind. She holds out her arms and, almost as if in excruciating slow motion, she tips over. She drops over the edge, falling through the air. You fall to your knees, your eyes brimming with red hot tears.
Even when you close your eyes, you can still see her. Falling, falling, falling through the darkness. With her white dress fluttering in the wind, she looks almost... Peaceful. Like a snowflake falling back down to earth.
